While some NXT stars are expected to be called up in the WWE Draft 2025, the moves make way for brand new signings to arrive.

From established names in TNA Wrestling to some of the most promising talent from WWE’s ID program, there are a handful of stars that seem very likely to be signed to WWE soon.

Here are six potential new WWE NXT signings.

6. Mike Santana

After making crossover appearances on NXT, TNA Wrestling star Mike Santana seems highly likely to make the jump over to WWE sometime in the near future.

Similarly to Joe Hendry, Santana has been appearing in a main event feud in NXT with Trick Williams, despite still being very much a part of the TNA Wrestling roster.

The former TNA World Tag Team Champion has largely been in singles action during his most recent return to the company, although he could certainly prove to be an asset to a group as well.

With a captivating promo style and veteran in-ring abilities, Mike Santana would be a great addition to NXT.

5. Jack Cartwheel

WWE Evolve star Jack Cartwheel

A WWE ID program standout, Jack Cartwheel has already made appearances on WWE Evolve.

Seemingly poised to join NXT – known for being a slightly more character-driven and entertaining brand – Cartwheel’s gimmick would be a great fit.

As his name suggests, he does actually do cartwheels in his moves, in his entrance, you get the idea.

Another WWE ID standout that has recently been teaming up with Jack Cartwheel on WWE Evolve is Cappuccino Jones.

Having already demonstrated through singles and tag action on Evolve that he has star potential, Cappuccino Jones could definitely have a bright future in NXT.

Likely to go the way of Sean Legacy and have a debut on NXT sometime in the near future, it would make sense for Jones to end up signed.

With a fun character, solid in-ring skills and plenty of charisma, he’d fit right in on NXT.

3. Private Party

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen found success in AEW as the tag team Private Party, but they haven’t been seen in nearly six months.

The duo lost the AEW World Tag Team Championship to Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin back in January 2025 and then disappeared from action. Later, it would be speculated that their contracts with the company were due to expire sometime in the summer.

Reportedly with interest from WWE should the duo end up hitting the free agent market, perhaps the next time fans will see Private Party on TV is actually in NXT.

Able to make a surprise entrance at some point, it would be pretty fun to hear a crowd react to the arrival of Private Party!

2. Danhausen

Another potential defection from AEW that seems to be tailormade for NXT success is Danhausen. A fan favorite despite having been off of television since December 2023, Danhausen certainly could find a second life in NXT.

Recently having the proof of concept successfully tested by Mr. Iguana from AAA, clearly WWE audiences are open to a little bit of face painted fun.

Now confirmed to hit the free agent market in July 2025 unless he has more injury time added to his AEW contract, Danhausen could finally be free to sign with NXT. However, one potential issue could come down to an interesting trademark issue.

Danhausen actually owns the trademark to his current signature facepaint and his name, so if he were to sign with WWE, there could be some changes to his appearance, or at least some kind of agreements between the parties.

1. Killer Kelly

While the NXT women’s division is certainly full of exciting talent, there are still some TNA Knockouts division stars that seem likely to jump ship to NXT at some point in the near future.

One such star is Killer Kelly, who has recently returned to action in TNA Wrestling after having taken time off to start a family.

Since making a return and sending an immediate message to Masha Slamovich, either one of the Knockouts – or both – could end up signing with WWE NXT at some point
