8 Changes To WWE After Money In The Bank 2025

With the WWE Money in the Bank 2025 winners decided, there is certainly still more fallout for the roster.

With both Naomi and Seth Rollins now able to cash-in on any champion at any time, there are even more possibilities for changes coming out of the event beyond those related to the briefcases.

Here are eight potential changes coming to WWE after Money in the Bank 2025.

8. Return Of R-Truth, Debut Of Ron Killings

WWE star R-Truth

After the big reveal of R-Truth at the close of the Money in the Bank 2025 main event tag team match, fans were elated.

While crowds had been chanting, “We Want Truth!” throughout the night (and throughout the entire prior week), in the end, they did in fact get R-Truth.

During the Money in the Bank post-show, Peter Rosenberg and Big E wondered if WWE fans hadn’t actually just seen the return of R-Truth, but rather the debut of Ron Killings.

With the WWE Shop website also referring to him now by his real name Ron Killings, it seems  that there is a character shift on the horizon for the beloved returning star.

7. Return Of Roman Reigns

WWE star Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns was last seen on WWE TV back in April when he appeared on the WWE Raw after WrestleMania 41, getting attacked alongside CM Punk by Bron Breakker as Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman watched on.

While some fans thought there may have been a Roman Reigns sighting by the end of the Money in the Bank 2025 event, that wasn’t the case.

However, with mortal enemy Seth Rollins picking up the victory and capturing the Money in the Bank briefcase, perhaps Reigns is now getting closer to returning.

Although there is still Night of Champions on June 28 and Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12 ahead of the first ever two-night SummerSlam, surely Reigns will make a reappearance sometime this summer.

6. Logan Paul vs. John Cena

After the main event match at Money in the Bank 2025 featured Logan Paul & John Cena teaming up against Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes, there was certainly a suggestion that Cena and Rhodes aren’t through with their war.

However, there also emerged a sub-plot during the match – as well as in the weeks leading up to it – of dissension between John Cena and Logan Paul that suggested the duo could be going head-to-head in the future.

Perhaps the pair will meet again in the future with the upcoming WWE Night of Champions taking place Saturday, June 28, 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia seeming like a possible destination for a match.

While other top names from the men’s roster may be presumably occupied chasing the King of the Ring tournament at the event, Cena vs Paul could be a perfect fit for Night of Champions.

5. Becky Lynch Holds Women’s Intercontinental Championship Hostage

Becky Lynch made it clear in her post-Money in the Bank 2025 comments that if people accused her of blocking the rise of others before, now she would really be making good on the criticism.

Seemingly poised to decline to defend the IC Title, Becky Lynch is already showing an evolution of her character since returning after time away.

While there may certainly be a variety of challengers, including potentially Bayley after it was Lynch who attacked her before WrestleMania, it remains to be seen who will step up to target Lynch.

With both Roxanne Perez and Stephanie Vaquer joining WWE Raw as of late, perhaps the next challenger isn’t far off.

4. More From Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso

During the WWE Money in the Bank 2025 post-show, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes appeared after having been victorious in their main event match with a little help from R-Truth.

When talking about what their collective team name should be, Jey Uso told fans to go ahead and leave their suggestions “in the comments”, while Rhodes looked contemplative.

Bringing up a story from a tag team match against each other many years ago at a house show, Rhodes recalled that while there weren’t many fans in attendance, Jey Uso still encouraged the group to go “FSA” – Full Speed Ahead.

Since the duo of Uso and Rhodes have proven to be wildly popular with fans, perhaps there will be more tag team appearances from the pair in the future.

3. Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa

For the first time since he joined the main roster, Solo Sikoa could conceivably be literally flying solo.

When Jacob Fatu showed up during the Money in the Bank ladder match, he arrived with JC Mateo.

While Mateo was seemingly poised to help Solo, it would end up being a betrayal by Jacob Fatu that would squash Solo’s chances of capturing the briefcase after Mateo had been taken out separately.

Although he was a singles act in NXT, Solo Sikoa was introduced to the main roster as a henchman for Roman Reigns at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022 to help Reigns defeat Drew McIntyre. He’s been squarely associated with the Bloodline since – leading to questions about what is next for Solo Sikoa, and the answer might be a main roster run on his own.

2. More Secretive Storylines

If John Cena is pledging to ruin professional wrestling as it exists today, one of the ways it could be done is by continuing to blur the line between fiction and reality.

While we may eventually find out the truth behind the storylines on the WWE Unreal Netflix series, because of the show, there is a monetary interest in keeping the storylines, details and potential happenings more closely guarded.

One big example being the R-Truth return at Money in the Bank itself.

The bottom line is that there are a lot of Hollywood ways around maintaining mystery regarding a production – something that WWE may begin to actively employ when guarding secrets similarly to other large IP properties.

1. No-One Is Safe From Naomi

Naomi captured the Money in the Bank briefcase during the women’s ladder match, but she seemingly doesn’t have her eye on only one championship.

With Naomi noting that once you have beef with her, you have beef forever (a Cardi B reference), there are plenty of potential future opponents for Naomi.

Ready to potentially take aim at any title holder on the WWE women’s roster, Naomi holding the Money in the Bank briefcase could be a really fun addition to the rest of the year of programming.

Liable to pop up and threaten to strike at any event – including across brands and NXT – Naomi could prove to be the most exciting briefcase holder yet.
