With WWE Clash in Paris 2025 fast approaching, there have already had to be some major adjustments made to the matches on the card.
From a title bout that could end up off the card entirely to matches that had to be swapped out due to injury – there have already been twists and turns on the way to Paris.
Here are six WWE Clash in Paris 2025 matches that seem to be canceled.
6. Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk

While CM Punk was interrupted in his WWE World Championship celebration at SummerSlam 2025 by the shock cash-in of Seth Rollins’ Money in the Bank contract – a re-match with Punk seemed likely.
But with Rollins also continuing to feud with LA Knight and Jey Uso thrown in for good measure, Adam Pearce made Rollins’ Clash in Paris bout a much bigger affair.
Rollins will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk, Jey Uso and LA Knight at the PLE.
With Roman Reigns also announced for the show but not yet confirmed for a match – maybe he will be the special guest referee to complicate matters even further!

5. Roman Reigns vs. Bron Breakker

With Roman Reigns having now suffered multiple humiliations at the hands of The Vision faction, it would stand to reason that he has a revenge plot already in motion.
Although Bron Breakker and Roman Reigns seems to be a hotly anticipated showdown, it has proven to be Bronson Reed who is more of a thorn in the side of Reigns at the minute.
While the battle of the spears is likely still coming somewhere down the road – it doesn’t seem as though there will be a singles match between Roman and Bron in the near future.
With Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed continuing to run interference for Seth Rollins as he looks to hold on to his title – Roman Reigns seems poised to go through both of them to get to the Visionary.

4. Tiffany Stratton vs. Anyone

Since defeating Jade Cargill at SummerSlam 2025, there are a lack of potential challengers on deck for Tiffany Stratton and the WWE Women’s Championship.
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair occupied with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, Nia Jax on NXT feuding with Lash Legend, Naomi on WWE Raw and Bianca Belair still out of action due to an injury – there are still some potential opponents.
After a stunning performance in the Tables, Ladders & Chairs match, Candice LeRae could be an option to get the nod or the continually entertaining Michin or Chelsea Green.
While a match could still be added for Stratton, it seems that she may not end up with a bout in Paris.

3. John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar

While Brock Lesnar made his surprise return to WWE to close SummerSlam 2025 – he isn’t the next opponent on the John Cena farewell tour.
Instead, it will be Logan Paul taking on John Cena at Clash in Paris 2025.
There is speculation swirling that the eventual showdown between Lesnar and Cena is already penciled in for a future date – an as yet to be announced show on September 20.
For their part, WWE has yet to confirm a new PLE for next month but there is a notable gap in the current WWE PLE schedule with the next announced event after Paris being Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia on October 11.

2. Naomi vs. Stephanie Vaquer

While the match hasn’t been officially canceled yet – it seems possible that this bout could be on the chopping block.
Stephanie Vaquer won the opportunity to face the champ after winning the battle royal at Evolution 2 – however there is question regarding whether or not Naomi will be able to compete.
Naomi was confirmed on WWE Raw to not have been medically cleared on August 11 for her match against IYO SKY, calling into question whether or not the match for Clash in Paris is still set to occur.
With further details still pending on how long Naomi may be out of action, we’ll have to stay tuned to find out if this bout ends up canceled in the end.

1. Liv Morgan vs. Nikki Bella

Before she sustained an injury on the June 16 edition of WWE Raw, Liv Morgan seemed to be kicking off a heated rivalry with Nikki Bella.
However, Morgan is reportedly expected out of action for several more months – potentially out of action until early 2026 which has halted their on-screen feuding.
Instead, there will be an entirely different bout on the card for the WWE Hall of Famer in her first singles PLE match since returning.
Nikki Bella is set to take on Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship in Paris instead.
