With perpetual movement in professional wrestling, there are certain to be brand new WWE signings in the near future.
From some that have already been introduced on TV to others that would be brand new to the audience, there are a lot of potential new WWE stars on the horizon.
Here are eight new potential WWE signings.
8. El Hijo del Vikingo

When WWE announced that it had acquired AAA, one exciting star with a history in the promotion was on hand for the historic moment.
El Hijo del Vikingo appeared and would go on to make an on-screen debut at WrestleMania 41 as he watched Rey Fenix vs. El Grande Americano at ringside.
Making his WWE debut at Worlds Collide on June 7 in a match against Chad Gable, it would make complete sense to see Vikingo make his main roster debut soon.
Seemingly poised to be officially announced as a WWE signing at some point in the near future, the Worlds Collide should be just an introduction to what El Hijo del Vikingo can do.

7. Danhausen

Among a number of AEW stars who have disappeared from TV, one standout is Danhausen. With his contract with AEW reportedly set to be up within the near future, perhaps his return will be reserved for WWE.
Despite the fact he didn’t see a lot of in-ring action during his time with ROH and AEW, Danhausen is in fact an accomplished in-ring performer.
With a fun and character-based gimmick that seems tailormade for NXT and beyond, it would make sense to see Danhausen sign with WWE at some point.
Notable real life friend of CM Punk, it would be poetic to see the duo interact in NXT on-screen with Punk known to visit the Performance Center.

6. Hikuleo

While Hikuleo is not technically a new signing – since he was reportedly signed to WWE last Summer – he has yet to debut in the company.
The former NJPW star brings not only a commanding size at 6 foot, 8 inches tall, but also an impressive lineage.
Hikuleo’s half brother is the Bloodline’s Tama Tonga with Tonga Loa being an adopted brother as well.
With Roman Reigns still out of action, perhaps he will be set to return with a brand new and very big enforcer.

5. Wardlow

Similar to other AEW stars that disappeared from TV, perhaps Wardlow will sign with WWE.
While he hasn’t been seen in AEW since Big Business back in March 2024, it isn’t clear what his contract status is with AEW but he isn’t being used.
There was a note by fellow AEW star Matt Taven some time back that Wardlow had suffered a knee injury, but neither AEW nor Wardlow have confirmed any reason for his extended absence.
With a ton of potential that has yet to be realized, it would make sense to see Wardlow be signed by WWE some time, even if it comes with a total change of character and/or name.

4. Mike Santana

He may have lost in a TNA Championship match against Trick Williams but Mike Santana seems far from done with WWE.
Another former AEW star that is likely to sign with WWE at some point in the near future is already making waves in TNA Wrestling.
Mike Santana continues to captivate audiences in TNA and recently brought his engaging promos and in-ring style to WWE fans.
Making an appearance on NXT as a part of the crossovers with TNA Wrestling, it would seem that the fan favorite star may be WWE bound soon considering how well he was received

3. Texas Outlaws (Wayne & Wyatt Rhodes)

While there is clearly more than one royal family in wrestling, the Rhodes family is an undeniable group.
With Cody Rhodes already in WWE and Dustin Rhodes still signed with AEW, there is a tag team that remains unsigned – the Texas Outlaws, Wayne & Wyatt Rhodes, the nephews of Cody and Dustin.
Adding a new detail to their in-ring skills as featured by Dustin, the duo play guitar and drums and are sometimes even known to play at events.
With plenty of Bloodline backup behind The Rock, maybe there is a future where Cody Rhodes also has a set of family members able to show support on TV!

2. Zozaya

While there are plenty of freelancers that are already engaged in the WWE system, a few intriguing names came from recent tryouts in Europe.
Reportedly one notable name that came out of the tryouts is Spanish star Zozaya.
The 22-year old continues to be a star on the rise and could very well be signed by WWE in the future.
With multiple new talent signed from a variety of international locales as of late, it certainly seems as though there will be more to come as WWE expands even more worldwide.

1. Matt Menard & Angelo Parker

Among the other reported names that have contracts with AEW that were set to expire in the summer are Matt Menard and Angelo Parker.
While it is possible either and/or both have signed extensions with a Tony Khan led company like AEW or ROH, it hasn’t been made public if that’s the case
Before their time in AEW, the pair were a tag team in WWE and could easily return to either NXT or the main roster.
Both with compelling character work, solid in-ring abilities and fan support, the former 2point0 team may be the next to jump from AEW back to WWE.
