7 WWE Stars To Leave Factions

Multiple groups in WWE could see simmering tensions boil over this summer, with some stars looking poised to leave their factions entirely.

With some turns looking inevitable, the groups in WWE could be looking very different in just a few months’ time.

Here are seven WWE stars that could be poised to leave their factions.

7. Finn Balor (Judgment Day)

There could be any number of members of Judgment Day who end up leaving the faction some time soon.

However, with the Judgment Day seemingly always on the brink of collapse, it would make sense to see Finn Balor being the one to leave.

Possibly taking JD McDonagh along with him in his departure, it could also end up being a betrayal of McDonagh to cement a heel turn for Balor.

With SummerSlam season approaching, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Balor placed in a big match, and whether or not it will be against another current member of Judgment Day remains to be seen, but issues have long been brewing between him and Dominik Mysterio.

6. Jacob Fatu (The Bloodline)

The new iteration of the Bloodline on WWE SmackDown has taken a different shape as of late with both Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa out of action due to injury.

While it has been reported that Tonga Loa is approaching a return, there isn’t a firm timeline on the return of Tama Tonga.

However, in their absence, not only has Jacob Fatu earned a ton of fan support, he also has captured the United States Championship.

With there’s definitely something up between Fatu and Solo Sikoa, the addition of JC Mateo may be a temporary fix for a much bigger issue. It seems as though Jacob Fatu will be the one to split from the Bloodline group and make his own babyface status clear.

5. Myles Borne (No Quarter Catch Crew)

While he had a standout match against Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at Battleground recently, ultimately Myles Borne did not pick up the victory.

He did, however, seemingly pick up new confidence as a singles star as he would go on to tell Charlie Dempsey that he wanted out of the No Quarter Catch Crew faction. However, Dempsey would tell him no.

It was decided that the pair would meet in a British rounds rules match, which if Borne won, he could leave the group.

Borne did pick up the win, meaning he is free to move on from the NQCC.

4. Brooks Jensen (The Culling)

Brooks Jensen was seemingly ousted from the NXT faction The Culling during a backstage segment on the June 3 edition of the show.

Hitting him in the back with a chair, Izzi Dame knocked Jensen to the floor in a backstage area before declaring that he was out of the group.

Claiming that Jensen was never fully committed to the group, Dame’s bold move received praise from The Culling’s leader Shawn Spears.

Later on Twitter, Jensen posted a photo from what appeared to be an airport window with the caption, “I have to take some time”.

3. Luca Crusifino (D’Angelo Family)

Although he continues to assert that he is aligned with Tony D’Angelo on NXT, it appears Luca Crusifino isn’t to be trusted.

With Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo already having betrayed Tony D, Crusifino is seemingly not far behind.

While there is yet to be a resolution to the total family dynamic between the D’Angelo Family, it seems pretty clear that in the end, Tony D’Angelo will be the sole man standing.

Whether or not Adriana Rizzo stays loyal to Tony D or joins a presumed new Lorenzo-led group remains a mystery.

2. Dragon Lee (Latino World Order)

While he has featured on NXT and in dark matches on his own, Dragon Lee is still a member of the LWO.

Lee is set to team with Cruz Del Toro and Lince Dorado at the upcoming Worlds Collide event after the original match had to be changed. Joaquin Wilde was set to participate as well, but suffered an injury in a recent WWE Speed match and was later replaced by Lince Dorado.

With Dragon Lee seemingly able to function as a successful singles star on his own, it could make sense to see him depart the group at this event.

Possibly turning heel or even just being shown saying a farewell to the tag team that remains in Joaquin Wilde and Del Toro, Dragon Lee could be poised to leave the LWO in Rey Mysterio’s continued absence due to injury.

1. Asuka (Damage CTRL)

While the Sky Pirates, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane, have reunited on WWE TV since the return of Sane, the overall status of Damage CTRL remains unclear.

With Dakota Kai having been released from WWE, it may make sense for the group of officially disband upon the return of Asuka.

However, it shouldn’t just be that Asuka gets drafted away from her fellow Damage CTRL stablemates.

It would actually be great to see Asuka in a big feud with either IYO SKY or Kairi Sane upon returning, or even more intriguingly, returning to become the leader of her own Damage CTRL 2.0 faction.
