WWE NXT has assembled an extremely talented roster with stars developed in the Performance Center and around the world.
After picking up the likes of Jordynne Grace and Ricky Saints to start 2025, there could be even more new talent that comes into the brand in the months to come.
Whether it be from another major promotion or on the independent scene, the next signings that come into WWE could become top stars for the NXT brand.
Here are seven potential new WWE NXT signings.
7. Man Like Dereiss

During the recent WWE European tryout, various independent stars from around the UK were invited in to show their skills.
Among the most notable of these talents was Man Like Dereiss. After receiving interest from the company, the 28 year old star was highly praised for his performance during the tryout.
With unmatched charisma and presence, Dereiss brings something unique that isn’t always seen from the stars currently on the NXT roster.
Having potential to excel when his time comes to the WWE main roster, Dereiss could become a breakout star if given the opportunity to shine.

6. Rhio

Another name that was invited to the recent WWE European tryout was Rhio.
The former PROGRESS World Women’s Champion has been a standout on the UK independent scene for quite some time.
Adding to an already stellar NXT women’s division, Rhio has all the ability that would allow her to fit in with the likes of Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia and Jaida Parker.
After appearing in extra roles on several occasions including on the March 31 WWE Raw, Rhio feels like an inevitable addition to the WWE NXT brand.

5. Luke Jacobs

One of the most surprising independent names that attended the recent European tryout for WWE was Luke Jacobs.
The current PROGRESS World Champion has put on spectacular bouts all across the UK independents against the likes of Tomohiro Ishii, JJ Gale and Michael Oku.
At just 24 years old, Jacobs’ best years are ahead of him, which really displays just how good he could potentially become under the WWE umbrella.
Helping to bolster the men’s division of NXT, Jacobs could become a future top star for the brand and put on some memorable bouts against a litany of talent like Ethan Page or Je’Von Evans.

4. Leyla Hirsch

In February, it was revealed that Leyla Hirsch was departing All Elite Wrestling after nearly five years with the promotion.
Competing mostly on the Ring of Honor brand, Hirsch made a name for herself as a more than capable in-ring competitor and put on some brilliant matches against Red Velvet, Athena and Diamante.
“Legit” Leyla feels like the kind of talent that could add something different to the already stacked NXT women’s division.
Whether it be against established stars like Jordynne Grace or up-and-comers like Lola Vice, Hirsch could become an addition that pays dividends long term for the brand.

3. Sean Legacy

The WWE ID program has offered a gateway for several stars to have new opportunities and should open the door for some talent to move onto the NXT brand.
The company recently introduced the WWE Evolve series to give these ID stars a platform to get the spotlight before making a transition to the main shows.
One of the stars who has garnered attention for his performances has been “Super” Sean Legacy.
The nine-year pro has displayed polished in-ring skills and would not feel out of place among the NXT roster, finding a place that gives him the chance to really shine in a major way.

2. Zayda Steel

Another WWE Evolve star who has gotten the opportunity to excel on the new show has been Zayda Steel.
Showing a cocky persona and knowing just how good she is, Steel has come onto the scene looking to make the most of every opportunity she gets.
With only less than three years of experience, Steel has competed around the world and for prominent companies, such as MLW and Marigold.
Steel’s combination of look, character work and in-ring ability makes her the kind of star who could be one of the future building blocks of the NXT women’s division for years to come.

1. Jeff Cobb

In March, reports started to circulate that current NJPW star Jeff Cobb was in talks with WWE about possibly coming to the promotion.
After a six year stint with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Cobb had established himself as one of the best wrestlers on the roster with an abundance of great matches against Shingo Takagi, Zack Sabre Jr, Kazuchika Okada and others.
As a long time member of United Empire, the former Olympian had more than held his own against some of the best in the business and would bring a significant amount of experience to the WWE NXT brand if he were to sign.
Adding to the roster that includes Oba Femi and Trick Williams, Cobb should instantly join the main event mix and could become an NXT Champion before long despite being 42 years of age.
