With 2025 coming to a close, WWE’s next premium live event will mark the beginning of the road to WrestleMania 42, the Royal Rumble in Riyadh.
While WrestleMania is still a number of months away, a picture has started to form on what the top matches at the event will be when it’s time for the event in April.
As such, there are a number of current names viewed as favorites for the Women’s Royal Rumble match next month.
Here are some potential 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble match winners.
Bianca Belair

WrestleMania 41 featured a big three-way match for the Women’s World Champion, which is currently the last time we saw Bianca Belair in action.
Bianca missed most of 2025 with a finger injury she suffered during the match at WrestleMania, with her recently noting that her injury is healing as the year comes to a close.
With Jade Cargill currently dominating SmackDown as the WWE Women’s Champion, the eventual return of Bianca for the long-awaited showdown between her and Jade feels like the natural conclusion.
If Bianca is healthy in time, she’d definitely be considered the frontrunner to win this year’s match.

IYO SKY

2025 in the WWE women’s division was very much the year of IYO SKY, with many of the year’s highlights coming from her in-ring action.
As 2026 draws near, one major story still left unfinished is the story between Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, with their classic battle at WWE Evolution ending without a definitive conclusion to their story.
Rhea and IYO clashing at WrestleMania 42 would be the biggest possible match the Raw women’s roster could book for the biggest show of the year, and IYO winning the Rumble would be an instant reward for her body of work in 2025.
The final clash between Rhea and IYO would be big enough to main event one of the nights of WrestleMania if booked correctly.

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan missed a good portion of 2025 with a shoulder injury, but her presence in the women’s division since her return at Survivor Series has already added a boost to the division.
Liv has vowed to get the Judgment Day back on track, with her, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez all looking to bring championship gold back to the clubhouse.
There are a number of potential stories for Liv following her return; can her and Roxanne remain on the same page, or will things come to a head between her and her stablemates as they all chase singles success?
Either way, Liv winning the Royal Rumble has to be considered a likely choice given her involvement and history with all of Raw’s major names.

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch made her return to WWE television at WrestleMania 41, and has proceeded to spend the rest of the year holding and elevating the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Becky has been eating a number of defeats in recent months, including three losses to Maxxine Dupri and two submission losses to AJ Lee, but has managed to remain at the top of the division through her character and promo work.
With Becky taking so many big losses recently, WWE may throw her a major bone soon, propelling her back to the top of the card as WrestleMania draws closer.
With Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY still together and a potential Judgment Day civil war keeping those members busy, a spot may well open up for a new foil to Stephanie Vaquer, which Becky could easily slide into.

Charlotte Flair

While the most popular destination for Jade Cargill at WrestleMania is an eventual clash with former partner Bianca Belair, WWE will likely require another plan should Bianca not make it to the show.
Luckily, there is one match that WWE has been clearly teasing and saving for a rainy day, and that’s a clash between Jade and Charlotte Flair.
After winning the Royal Rumble this year, Charlotte lost to Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania, and has won the crowd back on her side over the course of the year thanks to her alliance (NOT friendship) with Alexa Bliss, so her re-entering the title scene again next year would be welcomed by the crowd.
Ever since Jade first signed with WWE, she and Charlotte got in each other’s faces, and the Queen being the first woman to win back to back Royal Rumbles would be yet another major notch on her belt.

Rhea Ripley

As 2025 comes to an end, and fans begin speculating about potential Royal Rumble winners, all signs this year seem to point to the most obvious choice being the right one.
Rhea lost her Women’s World Championship back in March, and has been unable to recapture the title for the rest of the year, with it very much feeling like WrestleMania will finally be the time Mami gets back on top.
Small teases between Rhea and Stephanie Vaquer have been happening on Raw since Stephanie first joined the roster, and it’s a match that is clearly being saved for a big event later down the line.
Whether it be Stephanie or IYO once again capturing the title ahead of WrestleMania, this year’s event will likely see Rhea regain her seat at the top of the Raw women’s division, which will be kickstarted by her second Royal Rumble victory.
