Every year, a number of WWE stars walk down the aisle for the very first time at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
This year, reigning Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer will look to do the same, with her likely set for a marquee match in Vegas in April.
Whether she remains champion or not, there are a number of potential avenues Stephanie could drive down on her road to WrestleMania.
Here are some potential WrestleMania 42 opponents for Stephanie Vaquer.
Rhea Ripley
Just weeks into Stephanie Vaquer’s run on Monday Night Raw, WWE began planting seeds for a major future showdown with Rhea Ripley.
As the months roll on, Stephanie Vaquer vs. Rhea Ripley has not yet taken place, with the company likely keeping the match on the backburner for a big stage.
With Stephanie potentially walking into her first WrestleMania as World Champion, and Rhea also likely set for a title match on the show, all the teases are seemingly leading to a WrestleMania clash between the two.
Rhea likely winning the Royal Rumble would take us straight there.

Liv Morgan
Following her return to WWE television at Survivor Series, Liv Morgan has vowed to take the Judgment Day back to the top of Raw, eying up championship gold.
On her first Raw back, Liv and Stephanie also had a face off backstage, with a future title clash between the two also likely set to take place somewhere down the line.
Stephanie is currently on her quest to take down Raquel Rodriguez, and Liv would be the natural next step following that, though it feels like that match may take place prior to WrestleMania.
However, if Liv’s quest to take the Judgment Day to the top results in a Royal Rumble victory, then Stephanie vs. Liv could end up as our Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania.

Triple Threat With IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley
Stephanie Vaquer became the Women’s World Champion back at WWE WrestlePalooza, when she defeated IYO SKY to capture the vacant championship.
With Rhea likely set for a big championship match at WrestleMania, she is currently linked with IYO SKY on television, so it would be kind of hard to separate them entirely prior to the show.
IYO herself has seen her stock rise this past year where she could very easily end up in a world championship herself on the show.
The Women’s World Championship three-way at this year’s WrestleMania stole the entire show, and another three-way could do the same in the same building next year too.

Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch is arguably the greatest women’s wrestler in WWE history, and it’s not just her saying it, other people are saying it too.
Becky has eaten a lot of big losses on WWE television recently, including losing her Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri last month, but has remained a key figure on WWE television despite her absence due to her online character work.
Becky’s entertaining 2025 could see her be rewarded early on in 2026, lining her up for a big WrestleMania match against Stephanie Vaquer, who could really use a program to sink her teeth into.
If it’s an entertaining rivalry you need, look no further than Becky.

Nikki Bella
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has added some additional star power to the Raw women’s division since her return ahead of Evolution in the Summer.
Despite that, Nikki has taken a lot of losses since her return, including to Stephanie Vaquer herself, though it seems issues between the two are not yet over.
With Nikki and Stephanie’s rivalry continuing, we could see WWE shake things up and have Nikki capture the championship, with Stephanie then chasing her to WrestleMania to regain the belt.
If WWE wanted to set up a big victory for Stephanie at her first WrestleMania, that’s one way to get there.

Teaming With Raquel Rodriguez Against The Bella Twins
During her continued quest to take Stephanie’s title, Nikki Bella has also incurred the wrath of the Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez.
While Raquel and Stephanie have had their own series of matches, there was an underlying respect between the two women, who both now have issues with Nikki.
With Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez likely to be part of a Judgment Day civil war at WrestleMania, that leaves Raquel the odd one out, and her uniting with Stephanie to take out Nikki once and for all would make sense.
As for Nikki’s partner? Well, one thing we’ve been missing since her return is a bit of Twin Magic…

Teaming With Giulia For Women’s Tag Team Championship
While Stephanie Vaquer currently holds the Women’s World Championship, we have 4 months between now and WrestleMania, and there is an ongoing war within the Women’s Tag Team division.
With the Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, Judgment Day and more duos chasing the title, Stephanie will likely be pulled into the orbit sooner than later.
On SmackDown, Giulia has found herself without much direction since losing her Women’s United States Championship, or even before then, since she was first called up really.
Stephanie and Giulia’s alliance in NXT helped both women dominate the brand, and them coming together to take out the Tag Team Division would help both women find their feet heading into 2026.
