It was revealed that Stephanie Vaquer would still have a future match for the WWE Women’s World Championship – but not who it is against.
After Naomi has vacated her WWE Women’s World Championship, the match for the title at Clash at Paris 2025 has been cancelled but Vaquer was assured she still had a title shot by WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce.
Here are eight potential opponents for Stephanie Vaquer to face in order to win the WWE Women’s World Championship.
8. Bayley

Missing out on both WrestleMania 41 and SummerSlam, there is clearly something going on with Bayley.
After her continued vignettes featuring two iterations of her character arguing, it seems that perhaps a third option may be close to emerging.
Potentially departing entirely from her previous characters that were very diametrically opposed, there could be a new version of Bayley that is more mysterious regarding whether she is a babyface or a heel.
While a single match would be nice, a longer feud between Vaquer and Bayley could become one of the more compelling stories on WWE Raw.

7. IYO SKY

Fan favorite IYO SKY is seemingly occupied in her own evolving dynamic with Asuka, Kairi Sane and Rhea Ripley.
However if anyone on WWE Raw would be deserving of another shot at the WWE Women’s World Championship it may be former champ IYO SKY.
After SKY was able to retain her title at WrestleMania 41 in a brutal battle against both Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair, she had been in the midst of a grueling bout against Ripley one-on-one when Naomi struck with the Money in the Bank briefcase.
With Vaquer having respectfully called out IYO SKY in the past with her note that she wanted to “face the best, facing the last champ before Naomi in this situation makes sense.

6. Tiffany Stratton

There is an argument to be made that in the absence of Naomi as WWE Women’s World Champion – Tiffany Stratton is the top female champion in WWE.
While the prestige of the Intercontinental Championship and United States Championship continue to build acclaim over time – the other top title in the women’s division is Stratton’s WWE Women’s Championship from SmackDown.
Setting up a potential interesting clash of styles in their meeting, Stephanie Vaquer taking on Tiffany Stratton could be an expected delight if only the Women’s World title were on the line.
Potentially leading to a Two-Belt Tiffy moment – also Vaquer could beat Stratton without significant consequence to the momentum of Tiffy Time.

5. Nikki Bella

Perhaps taking on a WWE Hall of Famer is the route to take for Stephanie Vaquer to prove herself in pursuit of the WWE Women’s World Championship.
Since the duo have been featured on-screen being friendly, there wouldn’t need to be a specific rivalry to make the match make sense.
Able to compete in a fun, notable & newsworthy bout for the title to change hands could be exactly what is necessary to bring about a new champ.
Whether or not Bella is actually able to pick up the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Becky Lynch at Clash in Paris 2025 – either way would make sense.

4. Natalya

While Natalya is a WWE veteran and legend in her own right, she has been making waves outside of the company in recent indie appearances.
Appearing in Reality of Wrestling and GCW Bloodsport amongst others, the star has debuted her ‘Lowkey Legend’ character, Nattie.
Nattie comes with security to the ring, a serious tone and is prepared through decades of training in the dungeon to destroy – exactly what Stephanie Vaquer may need to beat in order to be the best.
With Nattie’s more vicious iteration having made an appearance recently at AAA TripleMania – perhaps she will make a main roster debut at some point in the future.

3. Bianca Belair

Out of action since picking up an injury at WrestleMania 41, Bianca Belair could be on the verge of making a return.
While no return date has been confirmed for Belair, she had recently commented on her status noting that one of her multiple broken fingers still had range of motion issues preventing her return but was hopeful to avoid surgery.
Having a surprise return could be a fun way to reveal Stephanie Vaquer’s future opponent and there is also some deep history between Belair and Naomi.
Potentially planned to return to de-throne Naomi eventually anyway, it could be Belair who bests Vaquer now to begin a storied rivalry between the pair.

2. Jordynne Grace

One of Stephanie Vaquer’s most interesting bouts in NXT was against Jordynne Grace.
With the pair tangling over the NXT Women’s Championship, it would not end up being Grace who bested Vaquer for the title – rather Jacy Jayne after some interference from Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx).
However with Jordynne Grace’s recent babyface losses in NXT coupled with her real life connection to Naomi who is vacating the WWE Women’s World Championship – there could be an intriguing story of Naomi having personally selected Grace to fight Vaquer.
Able to use the match to launch both women into a further stratosphere on the main roster, the duo could go on to have a legendary feud.

1. Nia Jax

Recently Nia Jax has been lurking around NXT, engaged in a feud with Lash Legend.
However in the event Jax makes a return to WWE Raw, she could prove to be a formidable foe for Stephanie Vaquer.
Demonstrating Vaquer’s ability to vanquish the monster that is Nia Jax in her pursuit of her first main roster singles title could be the route to go.
Able to to safely lose to Stephanie Vaquer without having any true detriment to her threatening character, Nia Jax could be the one to bring this storyline forward.
