At WWE SummerSlam 2026 Sunday, Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

Coming off the heels of this victory, there might not be anyone left for Reigns to overcome during this run with the gold.

Ahead of WWE Money In The Bank 2026, it has been announced that “The OTC” will next appear on a premium live event at the October 10 show from New Orleans.

Here are eight potential Roman Reigns WWE Money In The Bank 2026 opponents.

8. Solo Sikoa

Coming off the heels of WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Solo Sikoa reinserted himself in the Bloodline drama and business.

This led to Solo’s MFTs stablemates Tama and Talla Tonga leaving their former leader behind and deciding to stand on their own.

However, Sikoa then started to rise as he decided to go to war with The Bloodline instead of reuniting with his family.

With his popularity seemingly becoming stronger before the fans’ eyes, Sikoa feels like a formidable challenger for Roman Reigns who knows his cousin very well and can combat what he has to offer.

7. Royce Keys

Since The Bloodline reunited following WrestleMania 42, the group has gained plenty of enemies along the way.

Over the past month, Royce Keys has joined the fight against The Bloodline after his recent falling out with Jacob Fatu over joining the faction.

The former Powerhouse Hobbs has been slowly but surely gaining momentum and growing in prominence in WWE.

Keys getting the biggest match of his career against Roman Reigns could prove to be the opportunity that he has been waiting for and see him headline his first WWE PLE at Money In The Bank 2026.

6. Penta

Coming out of WWE SummerSlam 2026, Penta is no longer the Intercontinental Championship after losing the gold to Chad Gable.

Following this loss, WWE might want to move the luchador up the ladder and see how Penta translates to the main event picture.

Using the momentum from his successful IC Title reign, Penta might have what it takes to finally move up the card in WWE.

In what would be a first time ever meeting, Penta challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship could make for a potential match of the year candidate at the WWE Money In The Bank 2026 premium live event.

5. Chad Gable

Speaking of Penta, Chad Gable was finally able to beat the luchador to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam 2026.

The former Olympian has been on a redemption tour that led to him finally winning his first singles title in WWE.

Gable has long been one of the most impressive in-ring technicians in WWE and someone who has what it takes to be a top star.

Wanting the biggest match of his career, Gable could be the one to challenge Reigns and see where he stands against one of the best in the company at Money In The Bank.

4. Bronson Reed

Back in 2025, Roman Reigns found himself embroiled in a feud with The Vision faction that led to some matches against Bronson Reed.

Then at WWE Crown Jewel 2025, Reed picked up the biggest win of his career when he defeated Reigns.

However, Reed has been on the shelf with a serious torn bicep injury that was suffered ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber 2026.

Reed returning and immediately targeting Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Money In The Bank 2026 makes sense and could position him as a new challenger to add into the title picture.

3. LA Knight

Another WWE star who picked up a major win at SummerSlam 2026 was LA Knight.

On Night One, Knight teamed with Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys to defeat The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu and The Usos in a six-man tag team match.

“The Megastar” has been the loudest detractor of Roman Reigns and The Bloodline since their reunion after WrestleMania 42.

Knight challenging Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship has been a well built feud that could make for a highly anticipated main event showdown at Money In The Bank 2026.

2. Drew McIntyre

Following his loss to Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned Match at WrestleMania 42, Drew McIntyre has been absent from WWE TV over the past few months.

“The Scottish Warrior” is coming off the heels of an Undisputed WWE Championship reign from earlier this year that saw him lose the gold to Cody Rhodes ahead of WrestleMania 42.

Having never received his rematch for the title, McIntyre might feel owed another championship opportunity sooner rather than later.

With his return coming soon, McIntyre can make the move to Monday Night Raw where he could challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Money In The Bank 2026 in New Orleans.

1. Oba Femi

With WWE SummerSlam 2026 in the rearview mirror, Oba Femi is hotter than ever before coming off the heels of a win over Brock Lesnar inside Hell In A Cell.

After receiving a rousing endorsement from Lesnar following his win, Femi will no doubt be looked at as the top contender for Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship.

Following his King of the Ring win at Night of Champions 2026, Femi is now owed a championship opportunity at the world title of his choosing.

While the status of his shot is unknown at this time, Femi should be the next star to step up to Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title at the WWE Money In The Bank 2026 premium live event on October 10.
