While there are plenty of WWE stars that are fully fleshed out with their motivations and relationships having been made clear, others could use some honing.
From names who have been absent that should return with some noticeable difference to complete repackages needed, there are a host of WWE stars that may benefit from changing things up.
Here are eight WWE stars that could be repackaged.
8. Roman Reigns

After the betrayal and abandonment from Paul Heyman, it would seem likely that Roman Reigns would have some sort of crisis of conscience.
While the shift might be subtle, there should definitely be a clear change in Roman Reigns – especially after the Heyman-led faction including Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker laid him out on the Raw after WrestleMania 41.
Reigns has yet to make a re-appearance since being taken down by the new group, signaling that perhaps there is a shift coming from the Tribal Chief.
When Roman returns after a long absence, there has historically been a whole line of new merch with either a new catchphrase or moniker entirely on them, so we’ll have to see what emerges this time.

7. Alexa Bliss

The current iteration of Alexa Bliss is a little hollow from a character perspective with a long absence and unclear direction.
Likely to be headed for a repackage in the near future, it seems as though Bliss’ current vaguely vacant vibe may be explained in storyline soon.
However, while most fans assume she may be headed to some sort of union with the Wyatt Sicks, she was recently rebuffed by Charlotte Flair on SmackDown, possibly teasing a future showdown between the pair.
While character motivation and affiliation with the frightening Wyatt Sicks remains undetermined, perhaps it is not wise to offend Alexa Bliss as an alliance could happen at any time.

6. Natalya

Recently making an appearance at the NWA Crockett Cup, Natalya made news when she was involved in “an altercation with a fan” after her match against Kenzie Paige.
Before that, she had wrestled at GCW Bloodsport in Las Vegas over WrestleMania 41 weekend, defeating Miyu Yamashita.
In her forays beyond WWE, Natalya has been billed as Nattie Neidhart and has shown off a decidedly more aggressive and violent attitude as the “the low-key legend” seemingly out for blood.
Perhaps that version of her could make its way to WWE as her on-screen presence as of late has had a much less vicious tone.

5. Rusev

Since making his return at the Raw after WrestleMania 41 to attack Alpha Academy, Rusev went on to defeat Otis on a subsequent episode.
Having undergone a shift in attire and a noticeable body transformation since his last time in WWE during his AEW run as Miro, Rusev shared his mission statement in a pre-taped vignette.
With more information likely to be revealed, this is less of a repackage and more of a reveal as to what this version of Rusev is set to be in WWE.
Seemingly assuring fans that he did not care about or want their approval, Rusev is definitely a heel but there seems to be more layers that have yet to be examined, as he claims his destruction is actually for the benefit of his rivals.

4. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn is a little bit directionless right now, but that seems to be on purpose.
After feuding with Kevin Owens and having a lengthy time away due to apparent battle wounds suffered in their non-sanctioned match at Elimination Chamber, Zayn returned after WrestleMania 41.
While he is now set to team with CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event to take on Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker, some of Zayn’s most compelling character work comes when he is an unhinged heel.
With seemingly plenty of grievances to air and having been continually prodded by Seth Rollins, perhaps Zayn will repackaged sooner than later as the third man with Rollins, Breakker and of course, former Bloodline ally Paul Heyman.

3. Maxxine Dupri

Maxxine Dupri has put in the work to improve her wrestling abilities and it shows.
Coming a long way from her initial silent appearances in NXT 2.0 as Sofia Cromwell scouting Von Wagner, to becoming Max Dupri’s sister Maxxine Dupri with the Maximum Male Models, she has now been a longstanding member of the Alpha Academy.
However, with an increased emphasis on her in-ring work and clearly driven to progress in the wrestling aspect, Dupri may just want to ditch the old moniker and “go back to her roots” re-debuting again as Sofia Cromwell.
Possibly in a tag team with returning Kiana James or even a stable with other NXT call-ups, there is a lot more left for Maxxine to contribute after moving on from Akira Tozawa and Otis.

2. Tony D’Angelo

Although there is some unfinished family business to be resolved in NXT, one potential call-up in the WWE Draft is Tony D’Angelo.
While it certainly seems like the Don of NXT is set to be called up to the main roster, his current character as a leader of a stable isn’t looking likely to make the leap with him.
Certainly it is fun to speculate that he could be joining Seth Rollins’ new faction with Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker, but that is very much still conjecture.
In whatever way Tony D is planned to be repackaged, it would be nice if he was able to keep most of his characteristics as an NXT fan favorite – there has to be a way to keep the gimmick somewhat cohesive while also reimagining his potential on the main roster.

1. Bronson Reed

After taking time away from in-ring action due to a complicated injury he suffered during the Survivor Series: WarGames matchin November, Bronson Reed is rumored to be on the mend.
While there isn’t an exact return date noted, some reports have clocked as early as next month to see the Aussie back on WWE TV.
However, since he was already receiving massive crowd reactions before his injury, it almost seems difficult to imagine Reed attempting to function as a full heel.
Perhaps better suited for the rebellious or selfish version of heelishness rather than being outright evil, Reed’s in-ring skills remain so impressive that it is very difficult to boo him! Perhaps he will return from injury as a babyface, possibly to try to get revenge on Solo Sikoa for recruiting him to the WarGames match in the first place.
