Predicting The Card For AEW Dynasty 2026

AEW held it’s first pay-per-view event of 2026 last weekend with Revolution in Los Angeles, with a number of major angles taking place on the show.

Coming out of Revolution, a number of big future plans for All Elite Wrestling were made pretty clear, which could lead to a stack show for AEW’s Dynasty event on April 12.

Here are our potential predictions for the card for AEW Dynasty 2026.

AEW TBS Championship: Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Megan Bayne

At AEW Revolution 2026 Zero Hour, Willow Nightingale defeated Lena Kross to retain the TBS Championship. Post match, Kross and Megan Bayne attacked Nightingale, causing a shoulder injury suffered during the bout to get exasperated.

Then later on the main card, The Divine Dominion defeated Babes of Wrath to win the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships.

After this victory, Bayne should be in line for a shot at Willow’s TBS Championship in the coming weeks and months.

“The Megasus” challenging Nightingale for the title at AEW Dynasty 2026 could present her with a nice full circle moment considering her loss against Timeless Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Title at Dynasty 2025 last year.

AEW TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Speedball Mike Bailey

On the March 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher defeated Speedball Mike Bailey to retain the TNT Championship.

After losing to Bailey in the Continental Classic last year, Fletcher used the assistance of his Don Callis Family members Kazuchika Okada and Mark Davis to retain his gold.

With the story of the match being that Speedball has Fletcher’s number, it would make sense for a rubber match to be made for the AEW Dynasty 2026 card.

“The Protostar” defending against Speedball could make for a potential showstealing bout in Vancouver, giving Bailey the home field advantage with AEW Dynasty 2026 taking place in his home country.

AEW International Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Kevin Knight

At AEW Revolution 2026, Mistico and JetSpeed defeated The Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis and Kazuchika Okada to win the AEW World Trios Championships.

This marked the second key victory that Knight has gotten over Okada in recent months with “The Jet” also beating “The Rainmaker” in the 2025 Continental Classic.

After this latest win, Knight should be right in contention for a shot at Okada’s AEW International Championship sooner rather than later.

AEW Dynasty 2026 feels the perfect spot for Knight to challenge Okada for the gold and have the chance to walk out of Vancouver as a double champion.

AEW Women’s World Championship: Thekla (c) vs. Jamie Hayter

Thekla has been going strong as the AEW Women’s World Champion ever since dethroning Kris Statlander for the title on the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2025, “The Toxic Spider” has only been pinned or submitted by two women on the company’s roster.

While she has avenged her loss to Statlander, Thekla still has unfinished business with one half of The Brawling Birds, Jamie Hayter.

After beating Thekla for her first loss in AEW at WrestleDream 2025, Hayter could use this to get herself right into contention to challenge the champion at Dynasty 2026 next month.

AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Will Ospreay

Following a hard hitting and bloody battle, Jon Moxley defeated Konosuke Takeshita to retain the AEW Continental Championship at AEW Revolution 2026.

Post match, Will Ospreay made his return to All Elite Wrestling for the first time since Moxley and The Death Riders injured him and put him on the shelf for months.

Going right after Moxley with a Hidden Blade, “The Aerial Assassin” showed that he is out for blood and wants revenge on the current AEW Continental Champion.

Ospreay’s return should lead to a showdown with Moxley that will be about vengeance more than championship gold for the AEW Dynasty 2026 pay-per-view.

AEW World Tag Team Championship: FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (c) vs. Adam Copeland & Christian Cage

At AEW Revolution 2026, FTR defeated The Young Bucks to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

After the win, FTR were confronted by the returning Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, who laid out the champions with a Killswitch and Spear respectively.

Back at AEW All Out 2025, Copeland and Cage defeated Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. However, FTR got the last laugh when they delivered a spiked piledriver to Adam’s wife Beth Copeland right in front of him.

Now looking for revenge, Cope and Cage should be a duo on a mission as they try to take what FTR values the most by defeating Harwood and Wheeler for the AEW World Tag Team Championships back in their home country at Dynasty 2026.

Kenny Omega vs. Swerve Strickland in a Lights Out Match

On the February 18 edition of AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland defeated Kenny Omega in a first time ever meeting. Post match, Strickland brutally attacked Omega, ending with a Vertebreaker through the commentary table.

Then at AEW Revolution 2026, Strickland defeated Brody King and attempted to stomp his head into a cinderblock until Omega made his return to make the save.

Now that the dynamics have significantly changed between the two men, fans might be in store for one of the most violent battles in recent memory the next time Omega and Swerve lock horns.

Making this a personal rivalry worthy of the stipulation, Omega and Swerve could do battle in a Lights Out Match to settle the score between the two former AEW World Champions at Dynasty 2026 once and for all.

AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Andrade El Idolo

AEW star MJF and former WWE star Andrade

MJF has finally put his rivalry with “Hangman” Adam Page to bed after defeating him in a Texas Death Match to retain the AEW World Title at Revolution 2026.

Now that Page can no longer challenge for the top prize in All Elite Wrestling, it remains to be seen who will be next up to challenge Maxwell Jacob Friedman for the AEW World Title.

Since returning to AEW at the start of 2026, it feels like Andrade El Idolo has been on a roll and only a matter of time before he challenges for the richest prize in the company.

After his win over Bandido at AEW Revolution 2026, Andrade could challenge MJF for the gold at AEW Dynasty 2026 in a rare heel vs. heel battle for the title on pay-per-view.
