With AEW WrestleDream 2025 now wrapped up, fans can look ahead to the company’s next pay-per-view event: Full Gear on November 22.
From matches that have already been set to others that seem likely to be announced in the weeks to come, there will likely be many matches announced for the card in the coming weeks, with some already seemingly being teased.
Here are six potential matches that could end up on the AEW Full Gear 2025 card.
6. Big Boom AJ & Orange Cassidy vs. Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero

Roppongi Vice (Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero) crashed the AEW WrestleDream tailgate party in New Jersey, attacking Big Boom AJ in front of his son Big Justice.
While nothing has been announced as of yet, this could have been done to set up a war between the two sides at AEW Full Gear, albeit with an AEW star standing in for Big Justice.
Having teamed with Orange Cassidy in the past, perhaps AJ will call upon him or one of the other members of The Conglomeration to take down The Don Callis Family’s Beretta & Romero.
With the acknowledgement that AEW Full Gear 2025 is presented by DC, there could be some super hero influences on the event including Big Boom’s potential partner for the showdown.

5. AEW Women’s World Championship – Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mercedes Moné

One match challenge that has already been issued came before AEW WrestleDream 2025 came from Mercedes Mone.
After besting her open challenge opponent Mina Shirakawa and capturing her 11th Championship at AEW WrestleDream 2025, Mone wasn’t done yet.
Challenging Kris Statlander — who had retained her AEW Women’s Championship through a brutal battle with Timeless Toni Storm — Mone has her sights set on the biggest prize in the AEW women’s division seemingly once more.
Set to face-off at AEW Full Gear 2025, the match is certainly going to be a great one.

4. AEW World Trios Championships – The Opps (c) (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs & Katsuyori Shibata) vs. The Hurt Syndicate

After his loss against Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Title at WrestleDream, Samoa Joe along with Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata beat down Page in the ring.
Making it clear that The Opps were fully turning heel, another trio has recently made the transition the other way, with The Hurt Syndicate now considered babyfaces following their feud with The Demand.
While fans of the pandemic era WWE Hurt Business stable will have to continue to wait to see if the squad is reunited in full in AEW via the potential addition of Cedric Alexander, it has already been confirmed that the trio of Bobby Lashley, Sheltone Benjamin and MVP will get a shot at the AEW World Trios Championships on this Wednesday’s Dynamite.
With both trios being presented strongly, perhaps AEW will book a questionable finish to this first bout between the two sides, before an eventual rematch later down the line at Full Gear.

3. Women’s Tag Team Championship Final

Recently announced to be coming soon, the first ever AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions could be crowned at Full Gear 2025.
A tournament has been confirmed to determine the first title holders, with the bracket set to be announced on this Wednesday’s Dynamite.
With plenty of potential teams, a tournament scenario could offer a unique opportunity to showcase the AEW women’s division.
Some potential inaugural winners include longtime AEW stars Tay Melo & Anna Jay, who have a compelling emotional story behind their possible win with a long history as a tag team together or similarly on the heel side, Skye Blue and Julia Hart.

2. AEW World Tag Team Championship – Brodido (c) vs. FTR

There was compelling tag team action at AEW WrestleDream that could hold some clues to the future plans in the men’s tag team division.
After retaining their AEW World Tag Team Championships after a hard fought battle against the super team of Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita — Brodido is still on a roll.
Potentially looking to lock up again with the dastardly FTR — who have continued their dastardly acts, most recently cheating to win at WrestleDream — there could be a major fight for the AEW World Tag Team Titles coming soon between the two sides.
With the looming potential return of Adam Copeland — and undoubtedly some form of retribution for their attack on Beth Copeland — it could be that there is a longer storyline unfolding as 2025 comes to a close at AEW Worlds End.

1. AEW World Championship – Hangman Adam Page (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher

Despite retaining his AEW World title at WrestleDream 2025, Hangman Adam Page didn’t have much time for celebration as he was promptly jumped by The Opps.
Also at AEW WrestleDream 2025, Kyle Fletcher was able to retain his AEW TNT Championship after going to war with Mark Briscoe.
While the pair already waged war with one another at AEW All Out, Fletcher has some powerful allies within the Don Callis Family who could help him earn a shot at Hangman once again.
With Kenny Omega seemingly teaming up with Jack Perry and Luchasaurus against the Don Callis Family, there could be an even bigger storyline coming down the line with Blood & Guts set to take place before Full Gear on November 12.
