With WWE Crown Jewel in the books, attention will soon turn to the company’s next Premium Live Event offering Survivor Series 2025.
The WWE staple event of four decades is heading to San Diego, CA on November 29, and fans are already anticipating the return of the WarGames structure and the final WWE PLE appearance of John Cena among other things.
Please note that these predictions are based on recent backstage reporting regarding WWE’s plans for Survivor Series, so be wary of potential spoilers.
Here are our predictions for the WWE Survivor Series 2025 card.
WWE Intercontinental Championship – Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. John Cena
It has been reported by the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer that John Cena’s Survivor Series opponent is currently planned to be Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio.
The IC title continues to elude Cena, having never captured WWE’s “workhorse championship” during his illustrious career, thereby preventing him from achieving the coveted WWE Grand Slam accolade.
Dominik has become one of WWE’s most promising stars for the future, and makes sense as someone Cena could put over on his way out, or alternatively Cena could finally capture the one title he’s never won, capping off his career in memorable fashion heading into his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
Given Cena’s history with Rey Mysterio, perhaps the Hall of Famer could also play a role in the match, given that Survivor Series takes place in both he and Dominik’s hometown of San Diego.

Undisputed WWE Championship – Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
He just lost to Seth Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship, but Cody Rhodes will now have to look ahead to his next challenger for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Per the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, the number one contender will be determined on the November 1 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in Salt Lake City.
With Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu reportedly listed to be competing for the opportunity to challenge Rhodes at WWE Survivor Series 2025 – the nod is seemingly set to go to with McIntyre, with Fatu reportedly set for the Men’s WarGames match.
While this supposed direction could always change, the seeds were seemingly planted for this on SmackDown, with Fatu stepping up to “The American Nightmare” before being attacked by McIntyre.

Men’s WarGames Match – CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso & LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar & Austin Theory
With the titular Survivor Series WarGames match set to feature some of the top babyfaces taking on the top heels in WWE, the rumored field of men set to take part is fairly logical but with some surprises.
According to the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, the teams were, as of one week ago, set to be CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso and either Jimmy Uso or LA Knight taking on a heel team of Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory.
While Theory is currently out of action due to injury, details regarding the reason for his inactivity were sparse, with WWE potentially waiting for the perfect storyline reason to return, and these supposed plans don’t get much bigger for the former United States Champion.
After his loss to Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel, Roman Reigns was not pleased with The Usos – potentially making his appearance for the match come down to the wire whether or not he will really appear to help the team.

Women’s WarGames Match – AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & IYO SKY vs. Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax & Lash Legend
The women’s WarGames match is set to feature some of the biggest stars and biggest storylines from across WWE Raw and SmackDown if new reports are to be believed.
Per the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, WarGames match is currently listed to be AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & Iyo Sky taking on the heel team of Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax & Lash Legend.
Potentially signaling a new tag team on the horizon between Nia Jax and Lash Legend that is set to clash with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, the Women’s WarGames match will definitely have new an interesting layers in addition to heated rivalries.
The bout could also be the second one for AJ Lee after the star came out of retirement, recently competing alongside husband CM Punk to take on another WWE power couple in Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. With Lynch and Lee’s feud seemingly going on, certainly there is a lot to unpack in this match.

Jade Cargill (c) vs. Bianca Belair for WWE Women’s Championship
Also reported by the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, there is set to be another go around between Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill at the upcoming event WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.
Noting that they would have another title match at the show, this could suggest that perhaps the WWE Women’s Championship could change hands at the event, ending Stratton’s almost year-long reign as champion.
Bianca Belair could make her surprise return at Survivor Series after having been out of action since WrestleMania 41 in order to challenge Cargill and settle their old score.
With the notable continuation of their storyline throughout Belair’s injury, it could finally be time for these two to have a massive showdown in the ring.
