Next Holder Of Every AEW Title

AEW has a litany of different titles in the company with some top contenders chasing to win gold.

Whether it be the AEW World Title, tag team, trios or mid-card championships, there are several stars who seem poised for major success.

From first-time title holders to talent looking to capture their first championship in the promotion, the next holder of these titles would drastically change the landscape of the company moving forward.

Here are the next potential holders of every AEW Title.

AEW Women’s World Championship: Mercedes Moné

On the February 11 edition of AEW Dynamite, Thekla defeated Kris Statlander in a Strap Match to win the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Ever since then, “The Toxic Spider” has grown in confidence and shown off her eccentric personality on AEW television.

Meanwhile, Mercedes Moné has been off television after losing her TBS Championship and promised to take more than just titles when she returns.

“The CEO” returning as a babyface could see her finally capture the one title that has eluded her in the AEW Women’s World Championship.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships: MegaBad (Megan Bayne & Lena Kross)

On the February 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Babes of Wrath defeated MegaBad via DQ to retain the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships.

This result came due to an injury suffered by Penelope Ford and Lena Kross getting involved in the matchup.

Then on the March 7 Collision, Kross and Megan Bayne teamed for the first time in the company to defeat Timeless Love Bombs in tag team action.

Bayne and Kross have the size, presence and strength to be a more than formidable opponents for Babes of Wrath that they cannot overcome, leading to the duo losing the gold eventually.

AEW World Tag Team Championships: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage

Back at AEW All Out 2025, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage defeated FTR. Post match, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler delivered a Spike Piledriver to Adam’s wife Beth Copeland.

Since this bout, Cage and Copeland have not been seen on AEW television. Meanwhile, FTR have gone on to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

FTR will now defend the titles against The Young Bucks in their backyard of Los Angeles at AEW Revolution 2026.

Despite the Bucks having home field advantage, Cope and Cage feel like the most likely opposition to dethrone FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

AEW World Trios Championships: The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed)

On the March 4 edition of AEW Dynamite, Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada and Mark Davis defeated Jet Set Rodeo to win the AEW World Trios Championships.

This makes both Fletcher and Okada, better known as ProtOkada, double champions in All Elite Wrestling, with the former holding the TNT Title and latter the International Championship.

Meanwhile, Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed have arrived in AEW and taken every division by storm with their high flying arsenal of moves.

The Rascalz being the trio to take the gold from The Don Callis Family would be interesting to see them win titles for the first time since signing with the promotion.

AEW TBS Championship: Megan Bayne

Willow Nightingale is another one of the double champions in All Elite Wrestling, becoming the first woman to hold two separate AEW titles at the same time in the company.

One of the top challengers that has been chasing Willow’s TBS Championship has been Megan Bayne.

“The Megasus” has been on the hunt for gold in AEW since signing with the promotion back in January 2025.

Bayne taking the TBS Championship from Nightingale would be interesting and could see her repeating the feat done by Willow at the end of 2025.

AEW TNT Championship: Kevin “The Jet” Knight

On the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher defeated Tommaso Ciampa to win the TNT Championship.

Fletcher then completed his rivalry with Mark Briscoe by picking up a win in a Ladder Match at AEW Grand Slam Australia 2026.

On the March 11 episode of Dynamite, Fletcher will defend the TNT Title against Speedball Mike Bailey.

This bout might lead to Kevin “The Jet” Knight becoming the next challenger for “The Protostar” and could win his first singles title in All Elite Wrestling.

AEW Continental Championship: Konosuke Takeshita

At AEW Grand Slam Australia 2026, Jon Moxley and Konosuke Takeshita went to a 20 minute time limit draw during their Continental Championship match.

Post match, Takeshita laid out Moxley with a Raging Fire, showing that this rivalry was far from over between the two men.

Then, Mox issued a challenge to “The Alpha” to face each other in a rematch for the title with no time limit at AEW Revolution 2026.

After proving he can beat the former four-time AEW World Champion in the Continental Classic, it feels like Takeshita should win at Revolution and become the Continental Champion for the first time.

AEW International Championship: Konosuke Takeshita

After losing the AEW Continental Title to Jon Moxley at Worlds End 2025, Kazuchika Okada was no longer the AEW Unified Champion.

Now without the Continental Title, Okada is just the AEW International Champion, but he has only defended the gold twice over the past couple of months.

If Takeshita dethrones Moxley for the Continental Championship at AEW Revolution 2026, this could lead to another Unified Championship match down the line between the Don Callis Family members.

Whether it be at AEW Double Or Nothing or All In: London 2026, Takeshita and Okada should collide to determine the next AEW Unified Champion with “The Alpha” capturing the International Title.

AEW World Championship: Kenny Omega

MJF has been on a roll ever since winning the AEW World Title back at Worlds End 2025.

Whether it be Bandido, Brody King or Kevin Knight, Maxwell Jacob Friedman has put on stellar matchups and elevated everyone he has faced off with.

Meanwhile, Kenny Omega kicked off 2026, setting his sights on the AEW World Championship and wanting to reach the mountaintop of the company once again.

This should all come to a head with MJF and Omega to clash for the top prize in the promotion with “The Cleaner” finally becoming a two-time AEW World Champion in the near future.
