Drew McIntyre has a massive opportunity to take the WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes at Wrestlepalooza tonight.

Potentially a moment that could mark the debut of a new alliance to be revealed for the challenger, there are numerous WWE stars that could make their debut with Drew McIntyre to assist him in capturing and holding onto the title.

Here are eight new WWE stars that could debut with Drew McIntyre.

8. Zilla Fatu

While Zilla Fatu has not yet signed with WWE, it remains a goal for his career.

Continuing to make a name for himself across indie wrestling including with Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion, it seems almost inevitable that Zilla Fatu will realize his dream of joining WWE in the future.

Fatu has  an opportunity to debut as a counteragent to the ongoing Bloodline saga alongside Drew McIntyre.

Potentially teasing an alliance between The Rock and Drew McIntyre, another Bloodline member being sent to lend a hand could be a big sign of things to come.

7. Lance Anoa’i

One Bloodline family member that is definitely already signed to WWE is Lance Anoa’i.

Since signing with WWE back in July 2024, Anoa’i has yet to make his on-screen debut in WWE after having previously appeared as enhancement talent.

Aligning on-screen with Drew McIntyre, the new star could avoid NXT entirely and debut straight to the main roster.

Whether or not McIntyre ends up being actually affiliated with The Rock, it would still be an intriguing twist to see anyone Bloodline affiliated align with him.

6. Gallus

A trio of recently released WWE stars, Gallus was made up of Wolfgang and brothers Joe Coffey and Mark Coffey.

Potentially bringing back their Scottish villainy for an alliance with McIntyre, Gallus also have a big connection to The Final Boss, The Rock.

The Rock publicly thanked them for their efforts as the trio trained with him extensively in the lead up to his return to the ring at WrestleMania 40.

Aligning with Drew – whether or not there was a Rock connection – was fantasy booked by fans for Gallus for years, and it’s a dream that could become reality if McIntyre were to finally head up a stable and bring back the Gallus boys.

5. Jordynne Grace

With The Vision faction adding Becky Lynch as a member and AJ Lee and CM Punk an on-screen pair, perhaps there are more mixed-tag style pairings coming soon.

One great addition to a Drew McIntyre faction would be the ‘Juggernaut’ Jordynne Grace.

While Grace has been presented as a babyface so far in NXT, she could definitely take the opportunity to unite with the Scottish Psychopath to take a turn to the dark side on the main roster.

She has been rumored for a call-up ever since she arrived, and this would be an intriguing way to do it.

4. Charlie Dempsey

Looking to recruit excellence from around WWE, it would make sense for Drew McIntyre to take note of Charlie Dempsey.

While Dempsey’s fellow members of the No Quarter Catch Crew have ditched him as their mentor, perhaps he could go looking for a new mentor of his own.

With the capacity to be cunning and gritty, Dempsey could become an entirely new iteration of heel under the guidance of McIntyre.

In what could be a storyline that leads to showdown for Dempsey’s soul between McIntyre and William Regal – Charlie Dempsey’s father – the possibilities feel limitless for the pairing.

3. Tony D’Angelo

After seemingly being written off of WWE NXT TV in an homage to the series finale of The Sopranos, Tony D’Angelo has yet to be seen again.

While he was last shown seated in his favorite restaurant, when someone approached him and he looked up – the show cut to black and there hasn’t been further word from The Don.

Potentially joining the main roster, it would be an iconic time to either reboot his character entirely or incorporate his recruitment into the stable by revealing it was McIntyre who approached with an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Able to keep some of the mob boss aura without sticking so closely to the concept, Tony D’Angelo could bring a new intensity to the main roster.

2. Ridge Holland

With Ridge Holland debuting his new Steam Pig character at NXT house shows and on Evolve, perhaps he could be heading back to the main roster.

Explaining the new moniker as a term borrowed from rugby, Holland described a ‘steam pig’ as a badge of honor – marking his persistence and commitment.

With a more gritty and vicious side to his character, perhaps Holland would fit in perfectly for a new heel stable with Drew McIntyre.

Able to answer any powerhouse on the roster’s challenge, Holland could be a solid contributor to the stable.

1. Oba Femi

While The Ruler has reigned over NXT for over 250 days, it is possible that Oba Femi’s time as NXT Champion could be coming to an end.

After a dominant reign as NXT North American Champion went into his current title reign as top champ in NXT, there are few challenges left for Femi at the Performance Center.

However, with an upcoming title match against Ricky Saints at NXT No Mercy, it would make total sense to see Femi main roster bound.

Immediately aligning with the dominating and threatening presence of Drew McIntyre would be a great introduction for the WWE audience to Oba Femi.
