Adam Pearce holds the distinction of being one of the longest running authority figures in WWE history.
Holding the position since 2020, Pearce has been a solid contributor in the role, maintaining a sense of order to the proceedings on Monday Night Raw.
With the amount of time he has had this role, the Raw General Manager could eventually step down from the position and allow someone new to assume this job on Mondays.
Here are nine potential new WWE Raw General Managers.
9. Wade Barrett

Back in 2020, Wade Barrett made his debut as a WWE commentator after a successful in-ring career with the company.
The former five-time Intercontinental Champion has developed into one of WWE’s best announcers, using his experience and knowledge to add some entertaining insights to the action and stories being told on screen.
Showing his talking ability as an in-ring competitor and commentator, Barrett has the chops to fill any role in WWE and immediately excel.
Barrett moving from commentary to an authority figure role seems like a natural progression that could help him to become a bigger part of WWE Raw as General Manager.

8. Pat McAfee

At WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025, Pat McAfee made his return to the company for the first time in three months to join Michael Cole and Wade Barrett at the commentary desk.
While McAfee has shown some quality traits as an announcer since debuting in 2020, WWE has also tried him out in several different roles.
McAfee has shined as an in-ring competitor, most recently battling GUNTHER in a singles match at WWE Backlash 2025.
Now that he is back in the company, it might be time for McAfee to try his hand at being an authority figure where he could become the Raw General Manager and help to tell some more intricate stories on WWE TV.

7. Nick Aldis

Back in 2023, Nick Aldis debuted in WWE and joined the SmackDown brand as the new General Manager.
The former two-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion has brought a level of decorum that has not been regularly seen by fans in the GM position.
If WWE thinks Adam Pearce is ready to move on from his Raw GM role, the company will not have to look far for a possible replacement.
Aldis has everything that it takes to be the kind of authority figure who could potentially take control of both of the top two brands in WWE moving forward.

6. Ava

Another authority figure who assumed their position in 2023 was Ava.
The daughter of The Rock made her debut as an in-ring competitor and manager alongside Joe Gacy and The Schism on NXT.
However, it was a conversation with WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, which led to Ava stepping up to become the new NXT General Manager. Since then, she has grown as a performer and has left her mark in the role.
Ava getting a main roster callup to Raw GM would be some wonderful progression for the fourth generation star, allowing her to spread her wings even more on Mondays.

5. Michael Cole

Completing the trilogy of WWE commentators, Michael Cole is the most tenured announcer in all of the company.
With nearly 30 years of experience in WWE, Cole has become the voice of the company by a large margin and will remain there until he hangs up the headset.
Back in the early 2010s, many fans believed Cole would make a transition to an authority figure role and become the man behind the Anonymous Raw General Manager angle.
Looking to give the veteran voice of the promotion in a new position, Cole could move to the Raw General Manager spot where his credibility and legacy can give him the respect necessary to hold this role.

4. Paige

Ever since departing All Elite Wrestling in March, Saraya has remained absent from the world of pro wrestling.
Saraya has made it no secret that she would like to become Paige once more back in WWE when the time is right.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion proved throughout the last three years that she can still compete inside the squared circle and bring her star power back to the WWE women’s division.
Returning to a role she once filled in her last WWE run, Paige could return as the new Raw General Manager and help to put a female star in a prominent position.

3. Paul Heyman

Whether it be as Brock Lesnar’s advocate or “The Wise Man” of Roman Reigns and The Bloodline, Paul Heyman has been the key power player in WWE over the past two decades.
Despite not being an authority figure position, Heyman may just be the most important non-wrestler in the history of the company, especially over the past few years.
Now that he is in the corner of Seth Rollins and The Vision, the WWE Hall of Famer could help his charges gain even more power by assuming a new role.
Heyman returning to a GM position as Raw General Manager would allow one of the most exceptional talkers in pro wrestling history to mix it up and interact with more members of the roster in meaningful ways.

2. Karrion Kross

Following WWE SummerSlam 2025, Karrion Kross and his wife Scarlett announced that their contracts with the company had expired.
Officially becoming free agents, there have been some questions regarding Kross and Scarlett’s futures and if they could return to WWE.
Giving the former two-time NXT Champion a brand new role to explore, Kross could return as the new Raw General Manager.
Using his “devil’s advocate” or “instigator” character in a new way, WWE could open the door for Kross to further leave his imprint on the company and the Monday Night Raw brand.

1. Liv Morgan

Back in June, Liv Morgan suffered a dislocated shoulder injury that required her to undergo surgery.
Being sidelined for several months, the former WWE Women’s World Champion will be looking to firmly reestablish herself upon her in-ring comeback.
The Judgment Day member has been one of the featured talents on the WWE roster and could get an immediate boost upon her return by having an even bigger role.
While she recovers from injury, WWE could bring Liv back in the fold as the Raw General Manager where she can bring some much needed power to the Judgment Day in a major way.
