At the inaugural WWE Wrestlepalooza PLE in September, The Undertaker surprised Stephanie McMahon with the news that she will be inducted into the company’s Hall of Fame in 2026.

Since then, no further names have been confirmed for next year’s class, but we should expect that to change soon as WWE begins the Road to WrestleMania in January.

Here are six potential new inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026 class.

6. John Cena

WWE star John Cena

Perhaps the biggest no brainer WWE Hall of Fame inductee of them all, John Cena could end up being the name that headlines next year’s class.

Coming off his WWE retirement tour in 2025, it would be fitting to see the 17-time world champion swiftly inducted into the Hall of Fame just months later – with this acting as a final celebration of his contributions to WWE and the industry as a whole.

While Cena’s induction into the Hall of Fame has never been in doubt, who gets chosen to induct him is something that will lead to its own abundance of speculation. Randy Orton, CM Punk, Triple H, Michael Cole? There is no shortage of potential candidates.

Whoever the case, there is nobody more deserving than John Cena for the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame.

5. Batista

Former WWE star Dave Batista

Coming through WWE’s developmental system at the same time as John Cena, Batista is another name who could potentially headline the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class.

Having previously been planned for the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class (which was moved to 2021 due to COVID-19, Batista would delay his induction due to the pandemic, with schedule conflicts preventing a subsequent induction attempt in 2023.

Surely, at some point this induction will indeed happen, as “The Animal” deserves to have his career celebrated.

Unlike Cena, where there is an abundance of potential inductees for him, you would imagine that WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H would do the honors for his former protégé in Evolution.

4. The Hardy Boyz

When it comes to deserving tag team WWE Hall of Fame inductees, The Hardy Boyz stand atop that list on a 10 feet ladder.

Matt and Jeff arguably have contributed enough to receive their own inductions as singles stars as well, particularly Jeff, who was easily one of WWE’s most popular babyface stars in the late 2000s.

With The Hardys returning to WWE via the NXT & TNA relationship in 2025, it seems like a full scale return to the company could be in the pipeline, along with a Hall of Fame induction.

Their contracts with TNA Wrestling are reportedly set to be up imminently, and as of the time of writing there has been no confirmation of an extension, adding weight to speculation of a WWE swan-song.

3. Chris Jericho

Another legendary name with a soon-to-be expiring contract is Chris Jericho, and like The Hardys, fans are anticipating a WWE return.

After six years in AEW, Jericho looks set to depart at the end of this year, which then opens him up for perhaps one last run in WWE – the company he’s most synonymous with.

Considering that his AEW deal is reportedly expiring at the end of 2025, Jericho could potentially show up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as a surprise entrant into the 2026 Royal Rumble on January 31.

Then, following that we could see WWE honor Y2J with a Hall of Fame induction before he embarks on one final run in the company.

2. Bray Wyatt

In the years since his tragic passing on August 24, 2023, Bray Wyatt’s name has consistently been linked with a posthumous induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Ahead of his father Mike Rotunda and uncle Barry Windham’s own WWE Hall of Fame induction in 2024, Rotunda said that Bray going into the Hall of Fame that year would have been too soon for the family, explaining why perhaps we have yet to see “The Eater of Worlds” honored.

Winning three world championships and creating some of WWE’s most memorable characters, Bray is someone who stands apart from all others in the company’s history – a truly unique and one of a kind WWE star that deserves to take his spot in the Hall of Fame in 2026.

While Bray should receive his own solo induction, there is also a strong case to be made for the entire Wyatt Family to get their own spot in the Hall of Fame in the future.

1. Sycho Sid

WWE legend Sycho Sid

Another WWE legend that we sadly lost within the past few years is former two-time WWE Champion Sid Eudy, who passed away on August 26, 2024.

“The Ruler of the World” went under several different monikers throughout his career, establishing himself as Sid Justice and Sycho Sid in WWE and Sid Vicious in WCW.

Sid is one of few WWE talents to have headlined two different WrestleManias across two different spells with the company, main eventing WrestleMania 8 alongside Hulk Hogan and WrestleMania 13 with The Undertaker – even walking into the latter as WWE Champion.

While his Hall of Fame induction should have came years prior, WWE should certainly honor the life and career of Sid in 2026.
