Now that WWE WrestleMania 41 has come and gone, there are likely new signings set to debut some time soon as the ‘new season’ begins.
From celebrities to familiar faces who have been away from WWE for years, there are a lot of exciting potential possibilities for new signings.
Here are nine potential new WWE signings that could be coming in 2025.
9. Travis Scott
While rumors have floated about that Travis Scott had done some in-ring training, it seems his growing skills are no joke.
After having a major moment in the closing moments of both Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 41, Travis Scott is now very much linked to WWE canon.
Speaking about Travis Scott in the post-WrestleMania 41 press conference, Triple H noted that Scott told him as he came back from the ring that he felt like WWE was his new full-time job.
Previously, The Rock alluded to plans for Travis Scott to be in an official match later this year – it seems that there will be more time until the reveal all plays out, but it certainly seems like it will happen.

8. Danhausen
While it isn’t exactly clear why some AEW stars disappear from TV for an extended period of time, perhaps Danhausen will be the next star called by WWE off the bench.
Danhausen hasn’t competed in any AEW matches since December 2023, making an appearance most recently for a Tony Khan owned company at Ring of Honor Final Battle in December 2024.
Still very popular with fans and competing in independent wrestling events worldwide, Danhausen seems to still be as engaged as ever with the pro-wrestling community.
A popular merchandise seller, Danhausen seems to have the endorsement of real-life friend CM Punk so perhaps Pepsi Phil, as Danhausen calls him, could put in a good word for the Very Nice, Very Evil star.

7. Joe Hendry
It seems very certain that as soon as he is able, Joe Hendry will sign with WWE.
After his match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41, Joe Hendry received high praise from fans and Triple H himself.
At the post-show press conference, Triple H noted that he anticipated Joe Hendry having more WrestleMania moments in the future, seemingly endorsing his future stardom in WWE.
While Hendry remains reportedly signed to TNA Wrestling, the relationship between WWE and TNA has featured numerous crossovers thus far, with Jordynne Grace being an example of a crossover star who was signed as soon as the opportunity presented itself.

6. Chris Jericho
The legendary Chris Jericho has been with AEW since the formation of the company in 2019.
Throughout the past few years, he’s shown little to no interest in returning to WWE, but that seems to have changed recently.
Jericho’s AEW contract is coming up soon, and he’s spoken about being “open” to potentially going back to WWE.
Whether it’s just a negotiation tactic or something more than that, there’s always a chance Jericho could return for one last run and/or a Hall of Fame induction.

5. Moose
Moose is one of numerous TNA stars who have made notable crossover appearances in WWE NXT.
Moose in particular had a high profile NXT Championship match against Oba Femi earlier this year.
Given the response to the match and Moose’s performances, WWE may be keeping eyes on Moose moving forward.
He would not be out of place at all on the WWE roster.

4. Jeff Cobb
Jeff Cobb has officially confirmed his departure from NJPW, including vacating the title he was holding at the time, the IWGP Tag Team Championship with United Empire tag partner Callum Newman.
Now that Cobb is reportedly a free agent, the wait to see where the veteran lands may end up being relatively short.
With speculation growing that WWE has expressed interest in Cobb, all signs seemingly point to him being WWE-bound.
Able to bring his hard hitting style in addition to long list of experience, Cobb has been with NJPW since 2017 as well as having made appearances in ROH, AEW and CMLL.

3. Ronda Rousey
After taking time away from fighting and giving birth to two children, Ronda Rousey is seemingly back in the hunt for someone to punch in the face.
While the former UFC and WWE star has been posting on Instagram about training, she has remained mysterious regarding her future plans.
Given that Rousey was vocal in the past about having wished she had preparation time ahead of matches like Logan Paul – and her disdain for former management – perhaps she would be willing to return to WWE now in the Paul Levesque Era.
It remains to be seen whether or not we see the main event from Evolution 1 reimagined for the rumored upcoming Evolution 2 – which Nikki Bella has also been speculated to be involved in – but that would be a legendary way to bring them both back.

2. Matt Cardona
Zack Ryder is dead – because Matt Cardona killed him. The ‘Indy God’ has made enormous splash in independent wrestling since departing WWE in 2020.
After having spent the previous 15 years in WWE, Cardona went on to totally reinvent himself and see success in TNA Wrestling, GCW and others including some appearances in AEW.
Fans periodically enjoy fantasy booking the return of Matt Cardona to WWE, but even when speculation kicks up, he never appears – at least not yet.
Perhaps Matt Cardona is poised to be a surprise signing now that WrestleMania 41 has wrapped and the upcoming WWE Draft is upon us.

1. The IIconics
Fan favorites when they were previously on the main roster, the The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay) were back in action this weekend in Vegas.
The duo have a very good reason for their extended time off – both became mothers and are now back to wrestling.
Teaming together for the first time in three years, the pair defeated Kylie Rae & Nicole Matthews at Prestige’s Nothing to Lose event.
While it would be both ‘IInspirational’ and ‘IIconic’ to see this pair return to the main roster, they may be an even better fit in NXT.
