There are several WWE stars that could benefit from bringing back their old entrance themes to recapture their character’s energy.

After both Shinsuke Nakamura and The Street Profits made entrances on SmackDown using their old entrance themes, here are more stars that could bring back old favorites as well.

Here are five more WWE stars that could bring back their old entrance themes.

5. Sheamus

While Sheamus’ current theme is not the worst – it will be difficult for any theme to match up to the fan support that his third entrance theme in WWE has gotten over the years.

Sheamus’ classic Written In My Face theme has been resurrected a few times over the years, most recently in April 2024 when he made a return to action but you would be forgiven if you couldn’t hear it.

Given the iconic ‘Lobsterhead’ and ‘Too Many Limes!’ memes that have sprung from the song over the years, perhaps Sheamus could bring it back permanently.

Potentially wanting to branch out to get something else going entirely, the WWE legend could likely tap into some celebrity contacts to get his hands on a licensed song should Triple H oblige.

4. Drew McIntyre

With the shifts in entrance themes on SmackDown, as do rumors kick up regarding which WWE stars are petitioning for their own song changes.

One name that seems to circulate every now and again in terms of potentially getting an entirely new entrance theme is Drew McIntyre.

With the main event star definitely working to lead WWE into the future, his character could use an iconic entrance theme in the vein of the interactive entrances from Seth Rollins or even Cody Rhodes.

Much as been made by fans over hoping that McIntyre resurrects his Broken Dreams theme however it remains to be seen if that is the goal – but a switch would be great either way.

Amongst those who have recently resurrected a former iconic entrance theme is Finn Balor.

Bringing back the vintage theme for his return to Full Sail at NXT Homecoming, Balor confronted the heel Lexis King, supporting Balor’s babyface entrance.

While his theme would be iconic back on the main roster, it does seem that since Finn Balor’s theme is pretty closely linked to his overall character and presentation – so the switch would need to wait.

But in the event Balor becomes a babyface again, fans of his Catch Your Breath theme could be in for a pleasant surprise.

Bringing delight to fans of Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano, #DIY returned to their original Its Our Moment theme during their recent spell on The CW.

While the moment marked a fun surprise for fans, it could also harken of things to come.

With #DIY having recently been heels on the main roster, their warm reception at NXT continues to demonstrate that fans still love babyface Ciampa & Gargano too.

1. Johnny Gargano

Separately from #DIY recently bringing back their old entrance theme on NXT, Gargano teased that there was a possibility to hear another classic.

Seemingly teasing that bringing back his Rebel Heart theme for NXT Homecoming, the song could definitely still make its way back to the main roster in the future.

With the babyface versions of Gargano and Ciampa still obviously well-received, there could be a unique opportunity to use the entrance themes to demarcate the difference.

Being able to appear in NXT as babyfaces and return to the main roster with more of a heel edge could be a unique story that has yet to fleshed out in WWE.
