Airing on NBC and Peacock, WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event heads to Atlanta, GA on July 12 and is headlined by Goldberg’s final match, challenging GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship.
With three bouts confirmed for the show – GUNTHER vs. Goldberg, Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight – a few more matches could definitely be added.
Here are five more matches that could be announced for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12.
5. #DIY & The Miz Vs. Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy & Erick Rowan)

Reportedly set to return soon to WWE is The Miz – who has been out of action whilst filming his hosting duties for the reboot of American Gladiators
With the potential return of “The A-Lister”, it would make sense to see him pop up on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Having previous run-ins with the Wyatt Sicks, The Miz could somehow be compelled to join with Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in taking on the group.
There continues to be an ongoing battle between tag teams on SmackDown so the likelihood that some inference by the Street Profits, Motor City Machine Guns or Legado del Fantasma is high.

4. Dominik Mysterio (c) Vs. AJ Styles for Intercontinental Championship

A fun match for Saturday Night’s Main Event may be to see veteran star AJ Styles attempting to topple Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship.
While this match was due to happen at Night of Champions, it had to be delayed due to a legitimate rib injury sustained by Mysterio.
As of Monday’s Raw, Mysterio was still ‘signed off work’ with a doctors note and there hasn’t been any evidence that his recovery will come in time for this one to happen next Saturday.
However, if, on the off chance he is fit and healthy, it would make for a perfect candidate to be added to Saturday Night’s Main Event.

3. El Grande Americano Vs. Dragon Lee

With Chad Gable out of action due to a shoulder injury, the El Grande Americano mystery took a fascinating turn as a new Americano emerged on Raw, with Ludwig Kaiser under the mask.
Having a match for El Grande Americano on Saturday Night’s Main Event would be a fun way to progress the storyline and also keep casual fans in on the joke.
Dragon Lee might be a solid opponent for Americano, but in the end, he would need to lose to the American Made star – perhaps serving as a catalyst for his own character change away from the LWO.
Another potential opponent for El Grande Americano would be Grayson Waller who could amusingly have plenty of shots to take at Americano in advance of their showdown.

2. Jacob Fatu Vs. Talla Tonga

Since Talla Tonga (fka Hikuleo) debuted in WWE at Night of Champions, he has proven to be a highly dangerous thorn in Jacob Fatu’s side.
While Fatu is clearly going to continue to feud with Sikoa’s new Bloodline – it would be interesting to see this pair of heavy hitters square off in Atlanta.
With the pair running into each other once again on the July 4 edition of SmackDown – which saw Fatu join with Jimmy Uso to take on Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo – the show would go off the air with Fatu taken out by Tonga once again.
Pitting these two exciting performers against each other with Solo Sikoa and possibly Jimmy Uso at ringside would be a lot of fun for the big NBC show.

1. Grayson Waller Vs. Austin Theory

Perhaps it is wishful thinking – but there has to be something big coming up soon between Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
With the A-Town Down Under pair seemingly always on the brink of collapse, tensions have gotten notably higher since Grayson Waller has been befriended by The New Day.
Since WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is going to be in Theory’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia – it would make sense to see something for the star on the show.
Perhaps there could finally be the blowup between the tag team that fans have been waiting for.
