After Daniel Garcia made the move official and joined Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, there are more AEW stars poised to follow suit.

From more new members that the squad has been actively recruiting to others that could return to action and directly link up with the stable – there could be even more Death Riders in AEW soon.

Here are seven more AEW stars to join Jon Moxley’s Death Riders.

7. Kris Statlander

While Statlander was able to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship without any official help from the Death Riders – it wasn’t totally devoid of their presence.

During Timeless Toni Storm’s entrance, Wheeler Yuta was on the ring apron giving Statlander a pep talk.

While she was seemingly refusing to listen or look at him, casting him away from ringside it could be that his last minute advice did prove pivotal in helping her capture the title.

In a storyline that is likely still unravelling, it would make complete sense to see Kris Statlander eventually relent and join the Death Riders.

6. Buddy Matthews

While Malakai Black has returned to WWE, Brody King has gone on to capture the AEW Tag Team Championship with a new partner in Bandido.

Perhaps leaving an opportunity for Buddy Matthews to link up with Death Riders, Matthews could unlock a brand new persona in AEW.

Since Matthews reportedly signed a new deal with AEW in February 2024, he would presumably still factor into creative plans moving forward.

Potentially bringing about a brand new intensity in the Death Riders, Buddy Matthews could be a great addition.

5. Jay White

One addition to the Death Riders that could unlock a lot of new storyline potentials for the dangerous faction would be to align with Jay White.

While White is currently out of action due to injury, upon his return – he could make a huge impact on the Death Riders.

Adding another top star with a killer instinct to the already vicious group, the stable could go on to face-off against White’s former Bang Bang Gang stable after his betrayal.

Giving a space for Jay White to demonstrate a more serious and dastardly edge to the Switchblade persona, he could also prove to be a viable threat to Moxley down the line.

4. HOOK

AEW's Hook

A recent return that could end up re-establishing her character in a brand new way is HOOK.

With Daniel Garcia joining the Death Riders, perhaps HOOK could follow suit as the next up-and-coming star to go to the dark side.

While it was established in a vignette that Eddie Kingston and HOOK were poised to unite on-screen, it is always possible that both could end up in the Death Riders.

Kingston aside, HOOK may have a bone to pick with The Opps after in storyline he was swiftly replaced by Powerhouse Hobbs. With continued conflict between The Opps and the Death Riders – perhaps this animosity will boil over.

3. Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston AEW

Coming back at AEW All Out to take on Big Bill in a winning effort, Eddie Kingston has returned.

Already seemingly locked into an alliance with HOOK, it could make sense to actually see Kingston follow HOOK into the Death Riders.

With very little about his on-screen character’s future plans revealed at AEW All Out, what comes next for Kingston remains unknown.

Boasting a complicated history between himself and Jon Moxley, it could be intriguing to see the dynamic between the duo in 2025.

2. Deonna Purrazzo

Another female AEW star that could benefit from joining Marina Shafir in the Death Riders is Deonna Purrazzo.

While she definitely has displayed a violent edge in AEW, Deonna Purrazzo could definitely use a spotlight.

Joining the Death Riders and showing off her more vicious roots, Purrazzo definitely has the technical prowess to fit right in with the group.

Possibly rebooting her presentation in AEW, Purrazzo could redefine her character in the closing months of 2025.

1. Anthony Bowens

While he continues to have conflict on screen with Max Caster, now seemingly brokered by Jerry Lynn in lieu of Billy Gunn, it remains to be seen what comes next for Bowens.

With the reunion of Jurassic Express at AEW All Out in Luchasaurus and Jack Perry, perhaps The Acclaimed will find themselves back together – but more likely, things have changed too much for their duo to be put back together.

Potentially marking a moment that could be a character defining heel turn, Bowens & Caster could execute the rare double turn with the Death Riders destroying Caster to such a degree, it grants him sympathy from the audience.

Going on to join the Death Riders and become a more vicious and brutal version of himself, the ‘5 Tool Player’ Bowens could make a big impact.
