With the presumed WWE Draft 2025 still coming up, there could be moves between brands – including from the main roster to NXT.
From having an opportunity to reboot their character to just mix up the current pattern of feuds, there are several intriguing options of which main roster stars could make the move to NXT.
Here are six main roster WWE stars that could switch brands and join NXT soon.
8. DIY & Candice LeRae

After DIY recently appeared on NXT as a part of WWE NXT Homecoming, it seemed that the duo fit right in.
Potentially able to return to NXT along with Candice LeRae, the move would make sense and would give them a chance to recapture their babyface popularity.
With the audience connection to be able to pull off being babyface in NXT while still having a big chip-on-the-shoulder attitude on the main roster – the group could end up having a remarkable cross-brand long term storyline.
Able to contribute so much to in-ring competition, it would be nice to see DIY spend some more time in NXT with Candice LeRae in tow.

7. Wyatt Sicks

The Wyatt Sicks tag team of Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis remain the WWE Tag Team Champions accompanied by the rest of the frightening faction including Uncle Howdy/Bo Dallas, Erick Rowan and Nikki Cross.
While they continue to hold gold on SmackDown, perhaps the group could go looking for some additional trouble this spooky season and elect to target the Performance Center.
Able to feud with the likes of DarkState and The Culling or even singles stars known for betrayal like Charlie Dempsey and Josh Briggs – there are definitely options for who the Wyatt Sicks could choose to target.
Potentially serving as a bridge storyline between NXT and AAA or NXT and the main roster, whoever feuds with the Wyatt Sicks could see the bouts in the rivalry occurring outside of NXT.

6. LWO (Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde)

Potentially looking for a reboot in the absence of their veteran leader Rey Mysterio, the LWO of Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde could make a massive return to WWE NXT.
Taking on The Culling during some recent NXT house shows, there is a built-in feud for all of the members of the LWO.
While Rey Mysterio remains out of action due to a groin injury, perhaps the three remaining members of the group could come back to NXT to establish a more dominant presence.
Able to prove themselves as babyface counterparts to the dastardly DarkState as well, there are plenty of places for the LWO to go on NXT.

5. Ivy Nile

A main roster star that still has so much potential to showcase is the incredible Ivy Nile.
Appearing in some house show matches of late alongside Lash Legend in a tag team, perhaps Nile will make a return to WWE NXT to join forces with the Boujee Bully.
Or it is also possible that the duo uniting is more in line with setting up a tag team partner for Legend’s call up to the main roster.
Either way, the fun tag team could be an enjoyable pairing with some more time bridging their two big personalities together.

3. Maxxine Dupri

One WWE star from the main roster who saw herself catapulted from NXT in the first place was Maxxine Dupri.
Being cited by many backstage as an incredibly hard worker, Dupri has made the most out of her opportunities on WWE Raw but could benefit from returning with star power to NXT.
Recently tag teaming at an NXT house show with Karmen Petrovic, a partnership between the pair could even signal something else in the works.
Perhaps working together as a tag team, the pair of Dupri and Petrovic will fall behind a new Natalya-led faction back on the main roster, with Natalya having teamed with Karmen in the past.

3. Julius & Brutus Creed

While Chad Gable remains out of action due to injury, perhaps the Creed Brothers could re-establish themselves as a dominant force in NXT.
Since their run in NXT prior to departing to the main roster saw them positioned as babyfaces, they could now bring their big American attitudes back to NXT.
Offering some structure to the currently rebuilding NXT tag division, any team that bests the Creed Brothers gains some acclaim.
Potentially making their return through the WWE Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic which the duo won in 2022 – their return would add an immediate threat to the tournament.

2. Sheamus

Sheamus doesn’t need to work in NXT at this point in his career, but it could be beneficial for a number of reasons.
Number one on the list is to aid the development of NXT talents, with Sheamus now being a veteran of the WWE main roster for over 15 years, he can help the young stars with some tips that could benefit them greatly in the long run.
And that’s not to mention the excitement of seeing some of the matches we might not get to see otherwise – Sheamus vs Oba Femi, Sheamus vs Trick Williams, and plenty others.
Even if it’s just for a short run to work with one or two members of the NXT roster, it could be a very worthwhile move.

1. Natalya

Another veteran of WWE for nearly 20 years now is Natalya.
Having repackaged herself in non-WWE matches as Nattie Neidhart, she’s not yet been afforded the opportunity to embrace that role on the main roster.
A move to NXT could allow her to do that, while at the same time helping to train and develop some of the upcoming women’s division talents.
