Liv Morgan’s next challenger: Who will step up to chase the WWE Women’s World Championship next?

On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, Liv Morgan defended her Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch in an impromptu main event.

The match was initially set to be Becky facing Stephanie Vaquer in a number one contender’s match, but Stephanie ended up being pulled from the show due to an illness.

With Liv set to face off with Chelsea Green in the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship match, here are some of the potential next challengers for her title.

Becky Lynch

Since Becky made her return to WWE television following SummerSlam, she has been chasing the Women’s World Championship, including being part of a three-way at Money In The Bank.

The match between Becky and Liv on this week’s Raw ended in a disqualification after the Judgment Day came in to attack Becky, who seemingly had Liv beaten with a Manhandle Slam.

With an upcoming Raw show in Dublin, that would seem to be the logical location for the title match between them.

Bayley

On this week’s WWE Raw show, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria’s rivalry came to an end in a brutal No Disqualification match, which saw Bayley finally pick up the win over Lyra.

With very limited options on the Raw women’s roster on the babyface side, Bayley is one name that has yet to challenge Liv for the Women’s World Championship since she initially won it at WrestleMania 42.

Bayley has been a background player for most of the year, so it would be nice to see her elevated back into world title contention.

Roxanne Perez

Ahead of this year’s Money In The Bank event, Roxanne Perez was considered by many as the favourite to win the briefcase to set up a potential future clash with Judgment Day stablemate Liv Morgan.

With Roxanne not winning the briefcase, it seems as though the only way for her to get a shot at the title would be a longer term play, potentially at WrestleMania next year in Riyadh.

Sol Ruca

Sol Ruca faced off against Liv Morgan in her first match on the WWE Raw brand on the Raw after WrestleMania 42, where she came up short.

Sol is continually spotlighted by the company as one of it’s future top stars, so WWE may want to give her a test run against the World Champion.
