With WWE SummerSlam 2025 fast approaching, the official card for the first-ever two night event has now been released.

But with some big names still left off of the card, as well as ongoing rivalries – perhaps there are still a few matches left to be added.

Here are five last-minute matches that could still be added to WWE SummerSlam 2025.

5. WWE Women’s United States Championship – Giulia (c) vs. Zelina Vega

On the July 25 edition of SmackDown, Kiana James revealed herself as the “official representation” for Giulia after Zelina Vega attempted to approach the United States Champion backstage.

During the interaction, it was revealed that James had brokered a match with Nick Aldis – with Giulia giving Zelina Vega a rematch next week.

While it is presumably set to occur on SmackDown – it could also easily be shifted to the main card for SummerSlam Sunday.

With less matches currently on the card for Sunday, perhaps the addition of the Women’s United States Championship makes sense.

4. Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black

Continuing with recent SmackDown feuds, another match that probably could be on the SummerSlam main card is Damian Priest taking on Aleister Black.

With Black having continued to lurk Priest in recent weeks, their feud seems to be headed for a collision course next week – just not at the big two-night event.

Instead, Black and Priest will face off on the SmackDown before SummerSlam.

While there is certainly a case to be made for needing marquee matches on the SmackDown the show to create maximum intrigue going into the weekend – perhaps this match could end up being shifted, or a rematch could be made between the two after an inconclusive finish on SmackDown.

3. WWE World Tag Team Championships – Judgment Day (c) vs. LWO

When WWE revealed the official card for the first-ever two night SummerSlam – within a day, another was added.

On SmackDown, a wild brawl ended up forcing the hand of GM Nick Aldis. At SummerSlam 2025 there would an homage to a match made famous at SummerSlam 2000 – Tables, Ladders & Chairs.

There would be a TLC Match featuring the Wyatt Sicks putting the titles on the line against the teams of The Street Profits, The Motor City Machine Guns, #DIY, Fraxiom, and Andrade & Rey Fenix.

After LWO won the opportunity at the next title shot at the WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on WWE Raw – perhaps Raw’s tag team titles will be added to the main card as well.

2. El Grande Americano vs. Dragon Lee

El Grande Americano doesn’t seem to have many friends in WWE Raw, no matter who is portraying the character.

After Chad Gable was taken out of action due to injury, Ludwig Kaiser has been the one to take over the mask and singlet of the character – even showing off his Spanish language skills on Raw and recently in AAA.

While he continues to feud with Dragon Lee, PENTA may also remain incensed regardless of who is under the mask.

With the potential for the match to also host the surprise return of Rey Mysterio – with rumors having noted his return as likely for August – it could a lot of fun to break up an overall brutal Sunday night.

1. Stephanie Vaquer, Lola Vice & Nikki Bella vs. Chelsea Green, Piper Niven & Alba Fyre

Chelsea Green and her squad of Piper Niven and Alba Fyre have continued their rivalry with Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella as of late.

While in their on-going storyline on WWE Raw, the numbers advantage continues to go to the Secret Hervice – there could be an option from NXT to join the duo.

After having previously tagged with Vaquer at Worlds Collide and having a fun moment in the Evolution battle royal with Nikki Bella – perhaps NXT star Lola Vice could be tapped to join the squad.

Making for a fun fight, the match could easily go on to the card for Sunday – with Saturday already hosting the celebrity tag team bout of Logan Paul & Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton & Jelly Roll.
