Ever since making his return to WWE at the start of 2026, Jacob Fatu has been at the center of plenty of top storylines and the main event picture.
This should lead to ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ being placed in an important role at the WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event.
Whether it be a championship bout or grudge match, Fatu could find any number of interesting possibilities at ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ in Minneapolis.
Here are seven potential Jacob Fatu WWE SummerSlam 2026 opponents.
7. Solo Sikoa
In 2025, Jacob Fatu became fed up with Solo Sikoa and turned on his former ‘Tribal Chief’ after he lost the Ula Fala.
This led to a feud between the two that saw them trade the United States Championship, ending with a Steel Cage match at WWE SummerSlam 2025.
While they have faced each other on SmackDown since then, Fatu has found himself back involved with Sikoa after Roman Reigns wanted his entire family together in The Bloodline.
After getting under his skin and causing friction among The MFTs, Solo should be out for revenge and out for revenge this time on Fatu for now being a follower of Roman Reigns in The Bloodline.
6. Royce Keys
At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Royce Keys made his debut with the company in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Since emerging on Friday Night SmackDown, Keys has showcased his friendship with Jacob Fatu from their time on the independent scene before they ever signed with WWE.
Going way back with all of The Bloodline and the Samoan family dynasty, it has pit Keys in the middle of Solo Sikoa, The MFTs and The Bloodline.
Keys getting a featured match against Fatu would be wonderful, showing how far they have both come and having the chance to deliver a high profile battle where they beat the hell out of one another at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
5. Jey Uso
Jey Uso is back in the singles scene and seems to be on a roll where he is one step away from an Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam 2026.
At WWE Night of Champions 2026, Uso will face Oba Femi in the King of the Ring tournament final.
While he is so close, the ongoing drama that Jey has been having with LA Knight and even fellow Bloodline stablemate Jacob Fatu might be to his detriment when he tries to get past this final hurdle.
After that, Uso could find himself facing Jacob Fatu in a grudge match or a battle for supremacy within The Bloodline at WWE SummerSlam 2026 this August.
4. Penta
Roman Reigns seems determined to have the fans acknowledge the entire Bloodline following their recent reunion.
Following WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Reigns sent Jey Uso on the mission to win the Undisputed WWE Championship by way of the King of the Ring.
The next step could be by having Reigns send Jacob Fatu for the Intercontinental Championship.
If Penta is still holding the IC Title, it would present an intriguing bout for WWE SummerSlam 2026 and give Fatu another opportunity to become a champion again.
3. Bron Breakker
Back in 2024, a ton of fans were excited about the possibility of seeing Jacob Fatu clash with Bron Breakker.
Since then, both Breakker and Fatu have joined two of the most powerful stables in WWE today with The Vision and The Bloodline.
If WWE wants to build to a massive match between these two factions, the company could start that at SummerSlam 2026.
Fatu colliding with Breakker would certainly be a showstealer with both men wanting to prove themselves as the one true worldbeater on the WWE roster at SummerSlam.
2. Roman Reigns
Following WrestleMania 42, Jacob Fatu stepped up to challenge his cousin Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.
This led to two battles at Backlash and Clash In Italy 2026 where Fatu came so close to beating Reigns, but he could not get the job done.
After the loss in Tribal Combat at WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Fatu acknowledged Reigns as ‘Tribal Chief’ and joined The Bloodline.
However, Fatu’s unhinged nature still makes him a threat to Reigns, his leadership and World Heavyweight Title reign whenever he sees fit, which could be the WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event.
1. Cody Rhodes
Like previously mentioned, Roman Reigns seems motivated to see his fellow Bloodline members with championship gold.
Reigns is also embroiled in a long term rivalry with Cody Rhodes that has seen him trying to undermine Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship reign.
While Jey Uso has the chance to win the King of the Ring and challenge Rhodes for the title, Reigns could have a contingency plan with Jacob Fatu.
If Jey loses in the King of the Ring and Oba Femi chooses Reigns, ‘The OTC’ could send ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ on the hunt for Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Champion, wanting to complete their unfinished business at SummerSlam 2026.
