While it can be a lot of fun to be bad, WWE also needs to balance their heels (bad guys) with babyfaces (good guys) to bring stories together.
With a host of characters who could end up drifting away from the dark side to instead become more righteous members of the roster, this list covers plenty of ground.
Here are eight WWE heel stars that could turn babyface in the near future.
8. Liv Morgan

Although she was definitely a heel when she last appeared in WWE back in June, there could be changes up ahead for Liv Morgan.
While Liv Morgan is out of action due to injury at the moment, there are rumblings that when she returns it could be as a babyface.
With Morgan being swiftly replaced in the Judgment Day faction by Roxanne Perez, it could make total sense to see both Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez end up as babyfaces.
Potentially looking to reclaim their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to make history with yet another victory but this time as babyfaces.

7. Bronson Reed

While it makes logical sense to see Bron Breakker turn babyface, his character actually works quite well as a heel.
Aggressive and full of vitriol, Breakker can keep the dark side of the duo whereas Bronson Reed can be just as endearing as he is dastardly.
Looking impressive in his recent feud with Roman Reigns, Bronson Reed could potentially turn babyface in the future and switch sides.
Able to flip into being a babyface, Reed could end up being the biggest threat to The Vision in the end.

6. Finn Balor & JD McDonagh

The pair of Judgment Day pals remain WWE World Tag Team Champions despite plenty of competition on WWE Raw.
While the faction is often teased as possibly breaking up, it could be that Balor and McDonagh part ways with Dominik by turning babyface.
Able to go their own way, either of the pair could be viable contenders to Dominik Mysterio’s WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Potentially splitting with the faction by way of switching brands over to SmackDown, there could be entirely new feuds – both singles and tag teams – waiting for them on the blue brand.

5. Austin Theory

While he is currently out of action due to injury when Austin Theory was last seen in WWE, he was still a heel.
Although his A-Town Down Under tag team with Grayson Waller had been teasing collapse for quite some time, they would end up parting ways via a simple backstage segment.
With Waller noting that Theory was injured, he vowed to drop the dead weight of his former tag team partner – leaving the door open for a potential babyface return from Theory.
Since fans often speculate that Austin Theory could have a much more believable character as a babyface than his heel presentation – maybe now will finally be the time so see babyface Theory.

4. Tama Tonga

Having been absent from WWE since the SmackDown before WrestleMania 41, Tama Tonga has been dealing with a legitimate injury.
While he was written off TV with an on-screen attack by LA Knight, there have been big changes in the Bloodline faction since he was last on SmackDown.
Potentially able to simply avoid all of the Solo Sikoa and MFT drama by returning to WWE Raw, there could be a fresh start for the fan favorite.
Bringing their own unique and intense spin to comedy on-screen, hopefully Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu reunite in the near future.

3. Pretty Deadly

Another tag team that could cut ways with their former heelish ways would be Pretty Deadly.
At the minute, Elton Prince remains out of in-ring action due to injury with Kit Wilson having made a few appearances in singles defeats on Main Event.
However, when the duo does reunite on-screen, they could have the potential of making the shift from an arrogant and catty persona to instead try out becoming babyfaces.
Already teasing an amusing prospect in recruiting others to take part in their Pretty Deadly musical, the pair could provide much needed comedic relief. Potentially documenting their journey to “become babyfaces”, the pair could have a lot of fun moments with the rest of the roster.

2. Jacy Jayne or Fallon Henley

With Jazmyn Nyx leaving WWE, Fatal Influence is now down to just Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne.
The tensions in the group went all ways, and even though Nyx is the one gone, Henley and Jayne have had issues too.
Things could very easily boil over between the two, with one turning on the other.
It remains to be seen who would be the heel and who would be the babyface as either could work, but Henley may want a shot at Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship if Jayne retains against Lola Vice at No Mercy.

1. Wes Lee

Wes Lee started off in NXT as a babyface as one half of MSK with Zach Wentz, and remained a babyface following Wentz’s 2022 departure, going on to have one of the best NXT North American Title reigns of all time.
However, more recently Lee has been the heel leader of High Ryze, joined by Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.
The group has barely been on NXT for the past few months, and a return to the fun-loving, high-flying Wes Lee might be needed to rejuvenate his career.
