This Saturday, December 27, All Elite Wrestling returns to pay-per-view with AEW Worlds End 2025 from Chicago, Illinois.

The card is already stacked with the semifinals and finals of the Continental Classic as well as a four-way match for the AEW World Title in the main event.

With the December 24 AEW Dynamite and December 25 Christmas Collision set to give a final build for the major show, there is time for new last-minute matches to be added to the lineup for Worlds End 2025.

Here are six final matches to be potentially added to AEW Worlds End 2025.

Timeless Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir – No DQ Match

During the AEW Women’s Tag Team Tournament, The Timeless Love Bombs defeated The MegaProblems in a Holiday Hardcore Death Match.

However, Timeless Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa came up short in the finals against The Babes of Wrath.

Since this loss, it seems like Marina Shafir has been focused on getting revenge on both Storm and Shirakawa for the MegaProblems’ loss in the tournament.

This could lead to Storm and Shafir doing battle one-on-one in a No DQ match at AEW Worlds End 2025 to finally settle the score.

AEW World Trios Championships: The Opps (HOOK, Powerhouse Hobbs & Katsuyori Shibata) (c) vs. The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks)

At the AEW Dynamite and Collision: Holiday Bash special, The Elite’s Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks defeated The Don Callis Family’s Kazuchika Okada, Hechicero and Konosuke Takeshita in a Winner Takes All $1 Million Match.

After the reunion of Omega and The Bucks, it would make sense to put this trio back into the title picture.

The Elite challenging The Opps for the AEW World Trios Titles would be a high profile title showdown that all the fans will be looking forward to at the pay-per-view.

HOOK taking the place of Samoa Joe to defend the titles could make for an interesting element of this AEW World Trios Championship match against The Elite at Worlds End 2025.

Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Speedball Mike Bailey) vs. The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia & PAC) – Continental Classic Showcase Match

AEW Continental Classic

The Continental Classic tournament has once again delivered the goods with some spectacular matches over the past few weeks.

However, AEW Worlds End 2025 will be the semifinals and finals, meaning only four competitors can make it to that stage of the tournament.

With that mind, the company should showcase the rest of the participants in a multi-man tag team match like they have done in the past.

Highlighting The Death Riders with Claudio Castagnoli and PAC taking part in the tournament, the group could be on a collision course with a collection of C2 talent like Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy and JetSpeed at AEW Worlds End 2025.

AEW World Tag Team Championships: FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (c) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson & Austin Gunn)

On the December 17 Holiday Bash special of AEW Dynamite and Collision, FTR defeated Bang Bang Gang to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

However, this bout featured one moment where it looked like Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn had been crowned new champions after a visual pin.

With Cash Wheeler placing Dax Harwood’s foot on the ropes, this helped FTR avoid defeat as the referee called back his three count.

After this controversial result, it makes sense for Bang Bang Gang to get one more opportunity at FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Worlds End this Saturday.

AEW TNT Championship: Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Josh Alexander

At AEW Full Gear 2025, Mark Briscoe defeated Kyle Fletcher in a No DQ Match to win the TNT Championship.

This victory helped Briscoe avoid having to join the Don Callis Family due to the pre-match stipulation and stakes.

Briscoe could continue his rivalry with the Callis Family with his next defense of his newly won gold at the pay-per-view.

Josh Alexander could capitalize on his recent momentum by challenging Briscoe for the TNT Title at AEW Worlds End 2025, looking to bring the championship back to the Don Callis Family.

Darby Allin vs. Gabe Kidd

Ever since returning at AEW All In: Texas 2025, Darby Allin has been hellbent on getting revenge and taking down The Death Riders.

While he defeated Jon Moxley in a I Quit Match at AEW WrestleDream 2025, Allin is still wanting to take down other members of the group.

Back at AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts, it was Gabe Kidd who made his return during the Men’s Blood & Guts to set a pair of tables on fire before PAC press slammed Darby into the flaming tables.

Looking to get vengeance on the NJPW star, Darby Allin could return from his injury suffered against Kevin Knight in the Continental Classic to face off with Kidd in a singles showdown at AEW Worlds End 2025.
