Factions To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame 2026

The 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class already has its first name confirmed, with Stephanie McMahon announced to be inducted back at Wrestlepalooza in September.

With the new year right around the corner, more names should be announced to be joining Stephanie in the 2026 class soon – potentially including some historic factions from years gone by.

Faction inductees are a rarity, but there are many deserving groups that have yet to receive a spot.

Here are five factions to potentially be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026.

5. Nation of Domination

While the Nation of Domination had many members during its WWE run in the late 1990s, its main cast were Faarooq, D’Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Mark Henry & The Rock.

Of the five, only two remain without a Hall of Fame induction to their name: D’Lo Brown and, surprisingly The Rock.

While The Rock is nailed on for a future first ballot Hall of Fame nod, seeing him inducted as a member of the Nation would serve as a great prelude, with the group easily one of the Attitude Era’s most well remembered groups all despite only being active together for less than a year.

4. Evolution

Consisting of the past, present and future of the wrestling industry circa 2003, Evolution was a unique faction that not only helped establish Triple H as a dominant World Heavyweight Champion, but also elevate Randy Orton and Batista to superstardom.

Evolution were WWE’s number one faction between 2003 and 2005, and picked up where they left off a decade later when they realigned in 2014 minus Ric Flair.

Feuding with three of WWE’s brightest stars at the time: Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, Batista, Orton and Triple H successfully elevated them all to new heights before The Shield broke up shortly thereafter.

While Evolution are thoroughly deserving of an induction, their collective spot in the Hall of Fame may wait until one, or both Batista and Orton have solo inductions of their own however, so this entry may be one for a future year more so than 2026.

3. The Wyatt Family

In the years since Bray Wyatt’s tragic passing in August 2023, fans have expected to see his legacy honored via a posthumous Hall of Fame induction.

Bray’s father Mike Rotunda stated in 2024 that an induction that year was too soon for his family, but now that an another two years have passed, perhaps 2026 could be the year he gets chosen.

While Bray is obviously deserving of a solo spot in the Hall of Fame, there is also a great case that he should get a separate induction along with the rest of The Wyatt Family: Erick Rowan, Luke Harper & Braun Strowman.

The group stand as one of WWE’s most unique and intimidating collection of characters, with no act matching them in that department since their run a decade ago.

2. The New Day

WWE's The New Day

As seen with the Hall of Fame inductions of Rey Mysterio in 2023 and Paul Heyman in 2024, WWE is not opposed to honoring acts that are still active on TV right now.

While Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E are admittedly younger than those two examples, in terms of their accomplishments The New Day are certainly more than worthy of an induction.

What makes this one a slightly harder sell for 2026 is the current state of The New Day, with Woods and Kingston currently despised heels who turned their backs on Big E in their famous 10-year anniversary segment on Raw one year ago.

While it has been a nice change of pace seeing The New Day as heels, perhaps a Hall of Fame induction can reunite the trio – with Big E then serving as Woods and Kingston’s manager for another babyface run.

1. The Shield

Sticking with currently active potential WWE Hall of Fame inductees, The Shield are undoubtedly a group that will receive that honor at some point.

The trio stand as one of the most important factions in wrestling history, with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley dominating the business ever since they first debuted on WWE TV at Survivor Series 2012.

Obviously, while Rollins and Reigns have been established top guys in WWE for the past decade, Ambrose, aka Jon Moxley, departed WWE in 2019 to join All Elite Wrestling and has remained a part of Tony Khan’s company ever since.

With no indication that Moxley would consider a WWE return any time soon, it makes a Shield reunion quite unlikely, but never say never, perhaps a one night only return can be worked out?
