With the first-ever two night WWE SummerSlam fast approaching and numerous titles set to be on the line, there could be some big changes coming.
With 11 titles across WWE Raw and SmackDown, there could be all new champions in the near future.
Here are our predictions for the next holder of every WWE championship.
WWE Women’s Champion – Jade Cargill
While current WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton was able retain her title over Trish Stratus at WWE Evolution, Jade Cargill awaits as her next challenger.
After capturing the Queen of the Ring tournament victory, Cargill now has a guaranteed title shot at SummerSlam.
In the interim however, Naomi has captured the Women’s World Championship on WWE Raw – eliminating her as a looming threat to Jade – but potentially setting up a future rematch at Crown Jewel.
Seemingly poised to win the title from Stratton to then go on and have a singles feud with Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill could be on her way to her first singles title in WWE.

Undisputed WWE Championship – Randy Orton
As John Cena will continue on to SummerSlam to face his WrestleMania 41 opponent Cody Rhodes in a big rematch, there could be a possibility that Cena retains.
Perhaps Cena continues ahead as WWE Champion to a rematch against Orton – although this time with a different tone than the last.
With Cena potentially beginning to shift back towards being a babyface ahead of his retirement, it would make sense to see a return to heel form for Orton as well.
Setting up a future showdown between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes – that could also tie back around to The Rock if necessary – there could be a lot of compelling stories ahead.

Women’s World Championship – Rhea Ripley
Amid a battle between IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley, a surprise twist emerged to close WWE Evolution.
Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase to join the match and win it, becoming the brand new Women’s World Champion.
She is now set to face off against SKY and Ripley at SummerSlam in a three-way match.
It might not be as soon as SummerSlam, but Ripley continues to be the biggest star in WWE’s women’s division and is a likely next champion after Naomi.

Intercontinental Championship – Bronson Reed
Dominik Mysterio won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41 and has continued to hold on to the title since then.
While AJ Styles is set to be next up to challenge Mysterio, the champion continues to use a doctor’s note to shirk his scheduled title defense.
With Styles about to lose the title shot if he puts hands on Mysterio before he is medically cleared to compete, AJ could end up risking his opportunity and opening the door for another challenger.
An inetresting winner would be Bronson Reed, as both he and Bron Breakker begin to truly establish their dominance even in the absence of Seth Rollins.

Women’s Intercontinental Championship – Natalya
While Becky Lynch is set to face Lyra Valkyria for the fourth time in the last four premium live events, it feels like it’s time to move on.
With the Women’s Intercontinental Championship being introduced to seemingly bolster the midcard women’s division on WWE Raw, it has been occupied by this story since WrestleMania.
In the interest of making good on the notion of fostering more competition amongst the women’s division – particularly in light of Evolution 2025 showcasing the depth of the talent on the roster – there are compelling stories waiting to be told.
Whoever leaves SummerSlam as the Women’s Intercontinental Champion – whether it’s Lynch or Valkyria – hopefully moves on to feud with Natalya who deserves a showcase, as similarly to Naomi, she continues to find ways to be innovative in her character even after dedicating decades to the industry.

World Tag Team Championship – The Usos
Judgment Day could be heading for a multi-team match in their future, pitting some of the best tag teams in WWE against each other.
There could be some sort of multi-team at SummerSlam featuring Judgment Day defending their titles against the likes of the New Day, the War Raiders and the Creed Brothers – or any other multi-team combination.
Coming out of SummerSlam, while both have had enjoyable side quests as singles stars, it might be time for Jimmy and Jey Uso to reunite.
Potentially also finding a way to link up with Roman Reigns – the OG Bloodline trio could be back in action on WWE Raw soon.

Women’s Tag Team Championship – The Bella Twins
After WWE Evolution 2025 came and went without the return of Brie Bella, all hope is not lost.
Noting on the Nikki & Brie show podcast that she was nearly ready for an in-ring return, Brie shared that she had seen current Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez shout out the Bellas as potential future opponents.
Since Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez were able to retain the titles at Evolution, a showdown could be coming soon.
With the Bella Twins never actually having held this title – as it was introduced only shortly before Nikki’s neck injury – winning the title would be an overall memorable moment for Bella fans everywhere.

United States Championship – Jacob Fatu
After capturing the United States Championship at WrestleMania 41, Jacob Fatu later lost it to Solo Sikoa after their Bloodline alliance evaporated.
Reports have now surfaced online suggesting that Fatu is set to face Sikoa in a steel cage match at SummerSlam.
Bringing the next chapter of the Bloodline vs Bloodline story forward, it would make sense to see Sikoa capture a win, but there is also a good chance that Fatu could come out on top.
Still with the potential return of Tama Tonga and debut of Lance Anoa’i possibly on the horizon, Fatu might have his own squad ready to roll.

Women’s United States Championship – Charlotte Flair
With Giulia joining the main roster and quickly picking up the Women’s United States Championship from Zelina Vega, there could be some big feuds planned for the title.
After making an impressive impact during her time in NXT, Giulia originally came to the main roster teaming with Roxanne Perez.
Giulia is an in-ring powerhouse that would be best matched up with another versatile veteran, making a program against Charlotte Flair make sense.
With Flair recently having a budding friendship with Alexa Bliss, perhaps Giulia could pick up a running buddy of her own from NXT during the 2025 WWE Draft.

WWE Tag Team Championship – The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff Hardy)
The Wyatt Sicks team of Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy beat the Street Profits to earn their first ever WWE titles last week, becoming WWE Tag Team Champions.
It hasn’t been made clear if the Wyatts’ title will be defended under the Freebird Rule – where a stable defends the title with rotating members – or if the team of Lumis & Gacy is static.
However, while it would seem likely that the duo would face opposition from some of the other tag teams on the SmackDown roster, the most interesting future program could come from TNA Wrestling.
It would be very fun to see The Hardy Boyz return to WWE specifically to feud with the Wyatt Sicks, bringing together unique other worldly characters after their history with Wyatt, particularly Matt as the Deleters of Worlds.

World Heavyweight Championship – CM Punk
After being able to fend off Goldberg at Saturday Night’s Main Event, GUNTHER remains the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
With GUNTHER going on to face CM Punk at SummerSlam, there’s a chance Punk could take the title.
With a variety of intriguing elements – including the recent return of Roman Reigns – it could be that GUNTHER’s reign will be shorter than one might have imagined.
With CM Punk being able to continue to feud with Seth Rollins’ faction – but this time with a shiny prize for them to also hunt – it may be CM Punk’s time to become a World Champion in WWE once again.
