Coming out of WWE Survivor Series WarGames, there are sure to be some shakeups to occur for the SmackDown brand.
With a new champion being crowned and all the fallout from the WarGames matches, the stars of the blue brand will be looking to pick up momentum as WWE closes out 2024.
With Saturday Night’s Main Event on the horizon, several changes should become prevalent immediately on the SmackDown following Survivor Series.
Here are six potential changes to the WWE SmackDown roster.
6. LA Knight Chases New United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura
At WWE Survivor Series 2024, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated LA Knight to win the United States Championship.
After his recent return to the SmackDown brand, this was a necessary win that helps to cement Nakamura as a prominent act once again.
The King of Strong Style will look to find a new victim, but Knight should continue to stay on the hunt for the title he fought so hard to re-establish.
The Megastar being back on the chase could freshen up his act and allow for more entertaining television as Knight tries to get the better of Nakamura.

5. Inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion Crowned
At Saturday Night’s Main Event, the first-ever WWE Women’s United States Champion will be crowned with the tournament finals.
With the likes of Bayley, Chelsea Green and Michin all advancing so far, the field looks to be competitive with some very interesting options to be the inaugural champion.
New gold for the women allows for more storyline possibilities and directions for stars to take.
Whether it be an established top star like Bayley or an up-and-comer like Tiffany Stratton, this new title should go a long way to help further put a spotlight on the women’s division.

4. New Attitude For DIY’s Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano
Over the past few weeks, fans have seen Tommaso Ciampa express his frustrations and reach his boiling point with DIY’s failure to regain the WWE Tag Team Championships.
While Ciampa has gotten more aggressive and angry, Johnny Gargano has desperately tried to keep the peace between his tag team partner and WWE Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns.
However, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin turning down the pleas of Gargano for another DIY title shot could be a breaking point for Johnny Wrestling.
Gargano going to the dark side alongside Ciampa would be a different story to one fans perhaps expect and could lead to an intriguing rivalry with MCMG.

3. Tiffany Stratton Turns Babyface & Cashes In On Nia Jax
At WWE Survivor Series, Tiffany Stratton once again teased a Money in the Bank cash-in, but this time it was teased on both Nia Jax and Liv Morgan.
However, the cash-in once again did not occur once again thanks to Raquel Rodriguez and IYO SKY in the Women’s WarGames match.
Stratton getting fed up with the bullying tactics of Jax and turning on her is something the company has been building to for months.
Tiffy Time finally cashing in on Jax will give WWE another new top star and a rivalry that could progress even further in 2025.

2. Randy Orton Returns For Revenge & WWE Gold Against Kevin Owens & Cody Rhodes
At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens.
This bout comes off the heels of Owens taking out Randy Orton with a piledriver last month.
It could also be the stage for a return for Orton who could target both champion and challenger for two totally different reasons.
Orton returning to get a measure of revenge on KO and then going after Rhodes for the WWE Title could be a very compelling program that sets up the main event for WrestleMania 41.

1. Solo Sikoa Makes Changes To New Bloodline After Loss To Roman Reigns & OG Bloodline
At WWE Survivor Series 2024, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Sami Zayn and The Usos defeated The New Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Bronson Reed in the Men’s WarGames match.
With this major loss at the event, Sikoa will be looking to make some widespread changes to his group to regain his grip on control of the ula fala.
Sikoa will of course be looking for a singles match with Reigns down the line, but he could also make a key addition to the New Bloodline to help bolster their ranks.
With the likes of Hikuleo currently signed with WWE and Zilla Fatu wanting an entry in, Sikoa has some excellent choices that could re-cement The New Bloodline heading into 2025.
