Botchamania: Botches of the Week #14

1. Ready, Aim, FFFFFFFFFFF

OK bear with me here: A few months ago, Sami Callihan went to swing a baseball bat into a chair but ended up missing and struck Eddie Edwards directly in the eye.

Then at last weekend’s Slammiversary PPV, Pentagon Jr. went to spike Sami with a spike but missed the first time and hit him directly with it.

Only in wrestling.

2. Oops Up Side Your Head

Lashley and Reigns battled for the Number One Contendership on Raw and maybe Bobby was a little peeved at having to wrestle Roman again after defeating him at Extreme Rules because The Big Dog ending up spiking himself as he bounced in the ring.

Someone described it as Reigns being ”tripped by a ghost” and that’s better than anything I could come up with.

Aussie wrestler Xander Sullivan is less embarrassed over his large forehead colliding with the ceiling fan and more concerned about this video doing the rounds on social media with a huge typo. Xander wants to make it clear he can type well and his head hurts.

Wrestler’s insistence on landing on the apron has resulted in some of them deciding to take moves on the next hardest bit of the ring instead.

That may sound heartless but I’m not sure how a CANADIAN DESTROYER ON THE APRON is supposed to finish safely.

5. Splatting Star Press

Slammiversary was a very fun show overall but no show is perfect. Sadly Matt Sydal delivered a SSP but due to Brian Cage being too close he ended up brushing the ropes as he came down and splattered awkwardly.

Luckily he was supposed to miss and he managed to avoid Cage’s leg-log but luckily no-one was hurt.

Apart from the guy who did this typo who beaten unmercifully after the show.
