Over the past several years, AEW has seen various stars from the promotion leave and go on to sign with WWE.
Whether it be Cody Rhodes and CM Punk on the main roster, or Blake Monroe and Ricky Saints on the NXT brand, these talents have all seen varying degrees of success in WWE.
This success will lead to other stars to follow in their footsteps in the months and years to come.
Looking ahead to such a scenario, here are seven AEW stars to potentially sign with WWE.
7. Kamille

When Kamille first signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2024, many fans believed she would become a huge part of the fledging women’s division.
Upon her debut with the company, Kamille formed a partnership with then-TBS Champion Mercedes Moné.
However, this pairing was extremely short-lived with Kamille being fired, attacked and written off of AEW television just months later.
After more than a year away from the company’s programming, Kamille and AEW could go their separate ways, leading to the NWA Women’s World Champion making the move to WWE where she might fit in better than she has with All Elite Wrestling.

6. Powerhouse Hobbs

Recent reports have indicated that WWE is high on current AEW World Trios Champion Powerhouse Hobbs.
Considering his size, power and resumé during his stint with AEW, Hobbs is someone who would fit in nicely in WWE.
Being a former TNT Champion and someone who has been with the company for nearly six years, Hobbs has everything it takes to make a seamless transition to WWE sometime in the future.
Hobbs could shine and excel in the WWE landscape where he can be presented as a prominent star on any of the brands in the promotion.

5. Danhausen

Someone who has reportedly been on the radar of WWE for quite some time has been Danhausen.
The “Very Nice, Very Evil” star has been away from AEW programming for the better part of two to three years.
Despite making an appearance at ROH Final Battle 2024, Danhausen has been a merchandise mover throughout his time in Tony Khan’s company and could do the same elsewhere.
Feeling like a perfect fit for the NXT brand, Danhausen could sign with WWE in 2026 where he would be considered a valuable character to showcase on their programming.

4. Chris Jericho

The wrestling future of Chris Jericho has become one of the major hot topics in the wrestling community over the past few months.
After being part of the AEW roster since the inception of the promotion in 2019, it looks like Jericho’s time in the company may be winding down and coming to an end.
With Jericho’s contract reportedly expiring at the end of 2025, many believe it is only a matter of time before he shows up back in WWE.
Considering WWE Royal Rumble 2026 is looming, it feels like fans will not have to wait too long before seeing Jericho step foot back in the company for the first time since 2018.

3. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)

Another pair of AEW stars who have been reported to have some interest from WWE is Private Party.
Back in January 2025, Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin defeated Private Party to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
After dropping the gold, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen have been absent from AEW television. With a year since their last appearance, this points to their potential exit from the company coming soon.
Private Party leaving AEW when their contracts expire could lead to the young, exciting duo making a name for themselves in WWE upon signing with the company.

2. Paul Wight

Back in 2021, Paul Wight signed with All Elite Wrestling after ending his latest stint with WWE.
Spending more than 20 years with the company, Wight is considered one of the all-time greats to ever step foot in a WWE ring.
While he has played mostly a non-wrestling role in AEW, there may come a point where Wight has to make his return to WWE where he could receive a great honor.
Wight returning to WWE could see him finally being inducted into the Hall of Fame to be celebrated for everything he has accomplished throughout his time with the company.

1. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

When looking at the AEW roster, there might not be anyone who has shown every trait that WWE looks for in a potential superstar quite like Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion has long been one of the faces of the company since becoming the first female star signed to the promotion in 2019.
While she made her return to the promotion in June 2024, Baker was quickly removed from AEW programming in November and has not been seen since then.
Baker leaving AEW and heading to WWE would be intriguing to see how her act translates to the company and seeing her mix it up with the top stars in the company, such as Charlotte Flair, Bayley or Stephanie Vaquer.
