While speculation continues about the WWE future for Karrion Kross, it could be that the next time fans see him is in AEW.
With fan momentum behind the star, it is fun to think about some possibilities for allies should Karrion Kross make the leap to AEW and make some fast friends into a faction.
Here are six AEW stars that could join forces with Karrion Kross for a new faction.
6. Big Bill
If Karrion Kross wants to make a big impact in AEW, one solid ally could be Big Bill.
Since Chris Jericho remains off of AEW TV, it seems as though the Learning Tree faction is more likely over than simply taking a break.
Having demonstrated his abilities throughout recent years in tag teams with notably Ricky Starks (now Ricky Saints in NXT) and later Bryan Keith – Big Bill could definitely be a great addition for any new Kross squad.
Able to potentially shift between babyface and heel depending on their other alliances – Kross and Bill could be a huge force in the AEW tag team division.

5. Jack Perry
Among the AEW stars that are seemingly benched in anticipation of a future storyline, Jack Perry has remained out of AEW action throughout 2025 thus far.
Joining up with Karrion Kross however could end up creating a cool band of rebels – keeping the mini-bus from his Scape Goat era.
Not looking to rival Jon Moxley and the Death Riders in terms of a quest for power, the pair could be more oriented to causing general havoc and chaos.
Able to lean into Perry’s former feuds, he and Kross could set off across America in their mini-bus to bring mayhem to AEW.

4. Ricochet
Potentially able to link up with another formerly overlooked WWE star, Ricochet and Karrion Kross could meet again in AEW.
While Kross took a more serious tone in his recent work in WWE, perhaps he would look to freshen up his character in AEW.
Able to showcase more of his genuine personality if he were to be in a more animated heel role, the tone would be more mischievous than downright evil.
Potentially a very funny duo, Karrion Kross and Ricochet could lean into their shared experience from WWE to create some intriguing segments.

3. Hurt Syndicate
Less likely to become Karrion Kross’ faction, the Hurt Syndicate could be a landing place for the former WWE star to be introduced to the AEW audience.
Since their partnership with MJF has collapsed, perhaps there is room for a new addition to the Hurt Syndicate.
Joining up with a stable that is known to “hurt people” is certainly on brand for Kross who may look to revert to a more vicious character.
Able to fit in as a hired gun, Kross would eventually break ties from the Syndicate down the line to establish himself on his own.

2. Young Bucks
There could actually be an amusing storyline featuring the latest iteration of the Bucks attempting to cultivate a new group around them.
Now having lost their EVP titles in storyline, the pair continue to be subjected to ‘disrespect’ and perhaps have had enough.
Able to introduce Karrion Kross as their newest ally in attempt to garner fan support, it would ultimately backfire when of course, the newcomer turned on them.
While it wouldn’t be a long partnership, it could be fun while it lasts.

1. Juice Robinson
While Colten Gunn and Jay White are out of action due to injury, the Bang Bang Gang soldiers on.
The pairing of Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson have continued to wow crowds despite being two men down in their faction.
However, it could be a fun move to see the pair align with Karrion Kross if the former WWE star is to arrive in AEW.
Serving as a temporary member, Kross could certainly establish himself as a raucous but lovable babyface if that were the direction he were planning to take his AEW character to lean into his recent fan support.
