With so many standouts on the AEW roster, some current stars are in need of being repackaged given their current storylines (or lack thereof).
From shifts that seem to have been already directly teased to others that appear already in motion, there are seemingly some shifts coming on the AEW roster.
Here are seven AEW stars that seem likely to be repackaged.
Young Bucks

It seems as though after their loss at AEW All In Texas, a brand new version of the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) could be on the horizon after the loss to Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland stripped them of their EVP titles.
Perhaps humbled by losing their status within the on-screen cannon of AEW, the duo may come back after some time away having had a big re-invention.
Known for making shifts in their characters, it would be sort of fun for the pair to re-emerge with faux humility – first presenting as kinder albeit more disheveled and far less polished.
Of course, they would eventually come into money again and go back to being evil but for a bit – it would be a fun swerve for the Bucks to pretend to have had their egos crushed.

Christian Cage

After Cope then made a thunderous return to save Christian Cage, he had a very direct message for his longtime friend.
Mirroring Cage’s past response to Cope’s outreach (in which he told him to “go f**k himself”), Cope instead told Cage: “Go find yourself”.
Seemingly set to return and align with Cope – Christian Cage will definitely need to be re-packaged from his current iteration but it will be fascinating to see how it plays out.
Whether or not the duo will resurrect some of their goofier antics once aligned or rather go on a grizzled quest for revenge – it seems certain that the next phase of Cope & Cage has all the elements to be iconic.

Brody King

This is definitely less of a repackage entirely and more just an increased emphasis on King as a singles wrestler.
Having demonstrated that he is popular with fans, Brody King could have a viable singles run in AEW.
With the TNT Championship picture left a bit more in flux due Adam Cole vacating the title which was subsequently won by Dustin Rhodes – perhaps King could get involved.
Certainly able to serve as an anti-hero foil to the clearly heel Kyle Fletcher, the time to strike with Brody King is now.

Juice Robinson

Making a return to a thunderous crowd reaction at AEW All In Texas, Juice Robinson is back from injury.
After being out of action since November 2024, Robinson received a warm reception and ended up with some back-up.
Austin and Colten Gunn also popped up in effort to throw an assist to Juice in the Casino Gauntlet match.
Already sporting a new clean shaven look, it seems that there could be a new character iteration on the horizon for Juice Robinson that has yet to be revealed.

The Conglomeration

Seemingly born from an off the cuff moment from Mark Briscoe – The Conglomeration was a fun squad.
Consisting of a variable group that included Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and sometimes the likes of Tomohiro Ishii, Rocky Romero, Hologram or Willow Nightingale – the group has mostly disbanded.
With Mark Briscoe potentially set to continue a feud with MJF, he will be in need of some back-up to match that of MJF’s current running buddies, the Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and manager MVP).
Since Adam Cole is out with injury, a perfect solution could be for Briscoe to re-package The Conglomeration by joining forces with Paragon – Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong.

Paragon

At AEW All In Texas, Adam Cole took to the ring to directly address having vacated the TNT Championship and after was met at the ramp by longtime friends and Paragon partners, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong.
With their storyline finally reuniting as a babyface trio still has traction – it is possible that Adam Cole will be off TV for quite some time.
Accordingly, Paragon could be re-packaged to be anchored by Mark Briscoe rather than Adam Cole as the trio could go on a variety of side quests in addition to chasing gold.
With the potential that Adam Cole could be involved in some capacity in the future, it makes sense to not entirely disband the group but rather keep their momentum going with another beloved AEW fan favorite.

Julia Hart & Skye Blue

Similarly to Brody King, the duo of Julia Hart and Skye Blue could benefit from being repackaged to showcase their personality in real life a bit more.
While the previous iteration of the duo was decidedly more gothic in tone, it could be a good time for this pair to progress together and take their characters in a less prescriptive direction.
Already showing off an updated aesthetic while making an appearance at AEW All In Texas for the Casino Gauntlet match, it would be good to see this duo continue to re-define themselves.
Potentially keeping up with their alternative styling, the pair could trend towards more outcasts or rebels versus fully spooky.
