AEW Stars To Join Swerve Strickland EVP Faction

AEW's Swerve Strickland with Tehuti Miles

On the March 18 edition of AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega issued a challenge to Swerve Strickland for his number one contendership in a rematch from their previous bout on February 18.

However, Strickland made a counter offer for Omega to face him with both his number one contendership and Kenny’s EVP status up for grabs on the March 25 episode of Dynamite.

With the match now set, Swerve could walk out this week as the new EVP, which could set the groundwork for a new faction to form led by the former AEW World Champion.

Here are six AEW stars to potentially join a Swerve Strickland EVP faction.

6. Tehuti Miles (Ashante “Thee” Adonis)

It was recently revealed that former WWE star Ashante “Thee” Adonis, real name Tehuti Miles, had signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling.

In August 2025, Miles was released from WWE in his second stint with the promotion after a three-year run.

Now that he is with AEW, Miles looks set to make his debut on Ring of Honor television after recently appearing on their latest TV tapings in March.

Following being introduced in ROH, fans could see Miles make his first appearance on AEW TV alongside his former Hit Row stablemate Swerve Strickland as part of his EVP faction after this week’s AEW Dynamite.

5. AR Fox

Swerve Strickland could be forming yet another stable in All Elite Wrestling, which is something that he is no stranger to.

Back in 2023, Strickland formed a group called the Mogul Embassy when he first aligned with Prince Nana.

As part of this faction, Strickland recruited his former rival from his Lucha Underground days in AR Fox to the group. However, this alliance was short-lived when Swerve excommunicated Fox from the stable.

While they have faced off since then, it seems logical if the fence could be mended and see Swerve bring AR Fox back into the fold for this new EVP faction, giving him a more prominent spot on AEW television moving forward.

4. Queen Aminata

Looking at the AEW women’s division, there is a plethora of talent that Swerve Strickland could look to bring into his potential faction.

While she is currently on the shelf with a neck injury, she shared footage of herself training inside a ring this week, so a return could be nearing.

Queen Aminata is someone who has always felt different from any other female star on the AEW roster today. With her hard hitting style and unique look, Aminata has felt like she was on the cusp of being a breakout star in All Elite Wrestling.

Giving her the opportunity she has been searching for, Aminata could finally get a meaningful push if she were chosen by Swerve Strickland to be part of this possible EVP faction following his Winner Takes All rematch with Kenny Omega.

3. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)

On the February 11 edition of AEW Dynamite, Private Party made their return to All Elite Wrestling for the first time in over a year.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champions have not been heavily featured since their return to television and might need an opportunity to become a significantly spotlighted talent on the company’s programming.

Wanting to show off a new more aggressive attitude, Private Party could be convinced by Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana to join forces with them.

Strickland bringing out more of a darker side of Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen could be what they need to reach the mountaintop and become champions once again.

2. Kevin Knight

On the January 21 edition of AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland defeated Kevin Knight in the main event.

Before and after this encounter, Strickland has tried to provide guidance and advice to “The Jet” on what he needs to do to get to his level.

These interactions have led many fans to believe that there could one day be an alliance between Strickland and Knight down the line.

With Swerve serving as the “devil on his shoulder,” Knight could turn heel and join forces with this potential new EVP faction for Strickland in the near future.

1. “Hangman” Adam Page

At AEW Full Gear 2025, Swerve Strickland made his return to the company and made the save for “Hangman” Adam Page against The Opps.

This led to an alliance forming with Strickland and Page starting to team with one another to counteract Samoa Joe and The Opps.

Once bitter rivals, Swerve and “Hangman” showcased their undeniable chemistry with one another in tag team matches over the next few months.

While Page has now lost the opportunity to challenge for the AEW World Championship after Revolution 2026, “Hangman” could get some help from Swerve with his new EVP status to find himself back in the championship picture as part of his potential faction.
