At AEW Revolution 2026, UFC Hall of Famer and former WWE star Ronda Rousey made her debut in All Elite Wrestling and confronted Timeless Toni Storm after her match with Marina Shafir.
Considering her name and legacy, Rousey is a major star to bring into the company and her arrival in the company could lead to the MMA legend starting her own faction.
Rousey starting her own group would be interesting to see which stars from the AEW roster could join forces with her and look to take over the entire company moving forward.
Here are six AEW stars to potentially join a new Ronda Rousey faction.
6. Marina Shafir

At the AEW Revolution 2026 pay-per-view, Timeless Toni Storm defeated Marina Shafir with everyone banned from ringside.
Post match, Ronda Rousey showed up and confronted Storm to cause a distraction for Shafir to land a shot on her rival.
It was later revealed that Rousey was a personal guest of Shafir due to their longtime friendship with one another as half of MMA’s “Four Horsewomen.”
Considering their history and relationship, it just makes sense if Marina Shafir joined Rousey’s side in her new faction if she were to create one in All Elite Wrestling.
5. Serena Deeb

Serena Deeb has been one of the longest tenured female stars on the AEW roster since signing with the promotion in 2020.
Known as “The Professor,” Deeb has not only taught her foes and allies in AEW, but she was also a former trainer at the WWE Performance Center.
While Deeb never directly trained her, Rousey could see the skills and knowledge that “The Professor” possesses as something that might benefit her group.
Deeb getting a more consistent role on AEW TV alongside a star like Rousey would be a great way to highlight one of the veterans on the roster and give this new faction some much needed experience to their ranks.
4. Josh Woods

Looking at the AEW roster, there are not a ton of former MMA fighters with the background of Josh Woods.
Woods was a standout collegiate wrestler from the University of Central Florida and four-time All American. After college, Woods would go on to become a member of the 2012 U.S. MMA team as well.
Before committing to the pro wrestling world, Woods was fully immersed into a full-time MMA career.
With his knowledge of what put Ronda Rousey on the map, she would be hard-pressed to find another male star on the AEW roster more suited for her new group like Josh Woods.

3. Deonna Purrazzo

After signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2024, it looked like Deonna Purrazzo would be one of the new spotlighted talents in the women’s division.
Initially, Purrazzo came in and immediately kickstarted a feud with then-AEW Women’s World Champion Timeless Toni Storm. Even after this rivalry was over, “The Virtuosa” quickly started another feud with Thunder Rosa.
However, Deonna’s appearances on AEW television have been extremely limited since 2024 and she hasn’t appeared on AEW Dynamite or Collision since early 2025.
Now reigning as the ROH Women’s Pure Champion, Purrazzo feels like someone who has the technical ability to fit in nicely with a group of killers that Ronda Rousey might want to assemble in AEW.
2. Tay Melo

Ronda Rousey’s fighting career started as a Judo practitioner, which led to her becoming the first American woman to win an Olympic medal in judo, earning bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Another AEW star who has an extensive history as a judoka is Tay Melo, who is also a black belt.
Melo is an accomplished martial artist who has even competed in trials for the Brazilian Olympic team.
If Rousey is ready to assemble a stable of MMA killers, she would be wise to call upon Tay Melo to add to this faction to bring some more judo experience.
1. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. was the first female star to sign with All Elite Wrestling and one of the first homegrown talents to truly break out on the roster.
During her seven years with the company, Baker is a former AEW Women’s World Champion and has delivered several memorable moments throughout her run.
However, “The Role Model” has not been seen on AEW television since November 2024 with no explanation on her absence.
Baker making a return to join forces with Ronda Rousey would give someone who could work as a spokesperson and deliver the promos for this potential faction that might just take over the entire AEW women’s division.
