Ahead of the April 1 edition of AEW Dynamite, rumors and reports have circulated that seem to suggest that the company is discussing and expecting the return of Chris Jericho.
After nearly a year away from the promotion, it feels like Jericho is coming back at an interesting time and could open the door for a new group led by the legend.
Considering his history with factions like Inner Circle, Jericho Appreciation Society and The Learning Tree, Jericho’s return could see him leading a new group that offers something new to AEW TV.
Here are seven AEW stars to potentially join a new Chris Jericho faction.
7. Paid In Full (Big Bill & Bryan Keith)

During his last run with All Elite Wrestling, Chris Jericho led a stable named The Learning Tree.
Recruiting Big Bill and Bryan Keith, Jericho provided guidance for both men in their careers and got them consistent roles on AEW TV weekly.
However, Jericho was written off of AEW television in April 2025 and has led to both Bill and BK being featured on Ring of Honor as of late.
Now known as Paid In Full, Bill and Keith could reunite with Jericho in a new faction that could once again have a prominent spot on AEW programming moving forward.
6. Kamille

Chris Jericho has joined forces with several different stars during his time in All Elite Wrestling.
The most consistent part of Jericho’s factions has been the presence of an enforcer in every one of his groups, such as The Learning Tree and Jericho Appreciation Society.
Whether it be Jake Hager or Big Bill, Jericho has had an enforcer by his side and could have one in this potential group.
After over a year away from AEW, Kamille could make a return to the company and join forces with Jericho in a new faction.
5. Sammy Guevara

From Inner Circle to The Jericho Appreciation Society, Chris Jericho has been at the forefront in these stables from the start of his run in AEW.
Throughout these factions, there has been one constant alongside Jericho and that has been Sammy Guevara.
Starting with the first episode of AEW Dynamite, Guevara has played the role of protegè to Jericho and has learned a lot from the former AEW World Champion.
While he is now a member of LFI and one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Sammy could return to a more consistent role on AEW TV by reuniting with Jericho in this new stable.

4. Alec Price & Jordan Oliver

In a similar vein to Sammy Guevara, Daniel Garcia, Santana and Ortiz all played different protegès to Chris Jericho during his seven year run with All Elite Wrestling.
Looking at the AEW roster, there are a number of young stars who might gain some guidance from “Le Champion.”
In 2026, Alec Price and Jordan Oliver, better known as Bustah and The Brain, signed with AEW and have been making a name for themselves on Ring of Honor as of late.
Jericho could see the potential of Price and Oliver, wanting to become their veteran mentor that can guide them to the top of AEW tag team division.
3. Nick Wayne

Another young star who might benefit from Chris Jericho’s guidance and support is Nick Wayne.
Once considered the prodigal son of Christian Cage during his time in The Patriarchy, Wayne has learned quite a bit since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2023.
At just 20 years old, Wayne has accomplished a lot as the reigning ROH World TV Champion and having traveled all over the world.
Jericho recruiting Wayne could bring him back to a more active role on AEW TV, while bolstering the ranks of this potential new group in the company.

2. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster)

Over the past year and a half, The Acclaimed have gone from one of the longest tenured tag teams in AEW to now enemies.
Max Caster and Anthony Bowens went their separate ways at the start of 2025 with both men not being able to capture the same success they once had as a pairing.
This led to AEW starting to team the two former tag team partners back together as reluctant teammates.
Chris Jericho could serve as the glue for The Acclaimed in a similar fashion to what Billy Gunn has been for Caster and Bowens in the past, bringing them into his new stable as the cornerstones who can become top contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
1. Britt Baker

In the past, Chris Jericho has been one of the most vocal supporters for Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
Since November 2024, Baker has not been seen on AEW programming after being written off of television.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion feels more needed now than ever with the recent absence for Timeless Toni Storm.
Baker returning alongside Jericho would bring two of the original stars in AEW back into the fold for a new faction looking to find their place at the top of the promotion once again.
