AEW All Out 2025 Matches Canceled

With AEW All Out 2025 fast approaching this weekend, there have been some shifts in the card ahead of the pay-per-view.

From rivalries that will have to wait longer to be solved, to matches that have ended up even bigger than expected, there have been some detours on the road to AEW All Out 2025.

Here are five AEW All Out 2025 matches that seemed likely that ended up canceled.

5. Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Adam Page

Swerve Strickland and AEW rival Hangman Page

After Hangman Adam Page captured the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley at All In Texas, he has remained a fighting champion.

Already defending the title against Jon Moxley and MJF, it seemed possible that a future showdown with Swerve could have been happening.

The bout wasn’t meant to be, as Swerve Strickland is currently out of action due to injury, documenting his remarkable post-surgical progress on social media.

Instead Hangman will take on the current AEW TNT Champion, Kyle Fletcher who will assuredly appear with his manager Don Callis.

4. Brodido vs. Young Bucks

AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido

Pitting emerging fan favorites Brodido against perennial heels the Young Bucks seemed possible for All Out, but instead, a much bigger affair is set to go down in Toronto.

AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido will defend their titles against three other teams in a ladder match at AEW All Out 2025.

While the teams have yet to be determined at time of writing, the field has narrowed to a set of potential contenders.

Brodido will face The Young Bucks or Bang Bang Gang, The Don Callis Family or Top Flight, and The Matriarchy or JetSpeed.

3. Jon Moxley vs. Will Ospreay

A proper showdown will have to wait between Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley due to Ospreay being written off AEW TV at the end of Forbidden Door 2025.

Jon Moxley will not get off the hook that easily though as he’s set for an intense match type at All Out.

Mox will face Darby Allin in a Coffin Match at the pay-per-view event in a match that will certainly host some grisly scenes.

After Allin was written off AEW TV last December at the hands of the Death Riders, and considering Darby’s penchant for wild spots, there will definitely be memorable moments in this match.

2. Timeless Toni Storm vs. Kris Statlander

Timeless Toni Storm has continued her reign over the AEW women’s division, but she faces fierce competition at  All Out 2025.

With Kris Statlander continuing to interface with the Death Riders, there could have been an intriguing singles bout to play out her conflicted emotions.

While the details could still come together, there will instead be even more moving parts with Storm defending her AEW Women’s World Championship in a four-way match.

Timeless Toni Storm takes on Kris Statlander, Thekla and Jamie Hayter for the title at AEW All Out 2025.

1. Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford vs. Julia Hart & Skye Blue vs. Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron vs. Queen Aminata & Mina Shirakawa – AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship

Tony Khan has commented that there is a plan for an AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship at some point in the future – and the literal belts already exist.

Instead of rolling out the new championship however, this match is essentially still happening, although it will be on the AEW All Out Zero Hour.

Being billed as a Tailgate Brawl, all of the above participants are still taking part but it will be four-on-four.
