Whether it be wrestlers who are already signed, to free agents that are often linked to the company – there are a lot of potential WWE debuts we could see happen in the near future.
Whether it be on Raw, SmackDown or NXT – WWE’s talent roster could be set to grow even further if these stars make their long awaited appearances.
Here are nine potential WWE debuts that could be coming soon.
9. Zilla Fatu

One member of the real-life Bloodline that is not yet signed, but could soon make their debut in WWE is Zilla Fatu.
Already having made a name for himself in the indies as well as training under Booker T, the 25 year old star seems poised for big things in the future.
Fatu continues to wrestle in independent promotions such as Reality of Wrestling, but has frequently teased eventually joining the rest of the Anoaʻi family currently in WWE.
Son of the late Umaga – Zilla Fatu would be a compelling addition to the current configuration of Bloodline members – picking a side between Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa who look set to be at odds.

8. Hikuleo

Reportedly signed to WWE since Summer 2024, Hikuleo has yet to make his debut anywhere in WWE.
Expected to appear in NXT, his debut has yet to occur with the towering 6’8″ star seeing his last in-ring action in June 2024 in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The son of Haku is real life half-brothers with Tama Tonga, and considered the adopted brother of Tonga Loa but was previously set to avoid the main roster’s Bloodline drama.
It remains to be seen where Hikuleo will end up in WWE but there will certainly be big stories for him in the future when he does show up.

7. Mayu Iwatani

When Mayu Iwatani confirmed her departure from STARDOM, she sparked speculation that she could potentially be WWE bound.
However rather than a move Stateside she instead signed with Rossy Ogawa’s Marigold promotion.
In her comments after the move however, there was a mention that she still had a goal of appearing in WWE in mind when she made the decision to sign with Marigold.
Hoping that further crossovers between WWE and Marigold could continue, Mayu named IYO SKY, Kairi Sane and Giulia as dream opponents or partners in WWE, so perhaps we still see her make her debut in the company soon.

6. Mariah May

After wrapping up her lengthy feud with Timeless Toni Storm at AEW Revolution in March, Mariah May disappeared from AEW TV.
It wasn’t long before it was revealed that her current AEW contract was up at some point later this year, with the former AEW Women’s World Champion reportedly set to move to WWE when it expires.
With still no Mariah May on AEW programming – it seems more likely than ever that she exits the company, with no appearances coming before her contract comes up.
Time will tell, as neither Mariah May nor AEW have made any official comment on the matter – but certainly a move to keep an eye on.

5. Tetsuya Naito

After a history of having interest in signing the star, there is still a possibility that Tetsuya Naito could appear in WWE, as unlikely as that previously would have been.
Naito exited NJPW following the expiry of his contract earlier this month, naturally leading to speculation that a move to WWE or AEW could be coming. However, the Japanese legend has admitted to having had no contact with Tony Khan’s company, so perhaps its WWE who could be the front runners for his signature.
Given that there are relatively few top free agents in professional wrestling available right now, and probably none with the name recognition of Naito, the former 2x IWGP World Heavyweight Champion signing with WWE would be a big deal.
With continued discussion of NXT targeting a worldwide expansion, and roots clearly already being laid in Mexico and Europe – perhaps Tetsuya Naito would be the catalyst to the formation of an NXT Japan?

4. Lance Anoaʻi

Another Bloodline family member that has been signed to WWE but has yet to debut on TV is Lance Anoa’i.
The star has been photographed with Shawn Michaels on the NXT entrance ramp, fueling rumors that he will be debuting on the brand when he does arrive on TV.
While NXT is also awaiting on the arrival of Hikuleo, perhaps there will be a brand new Bloodline tag team joining forces.
Certainly poised to be brought into some big storylines once he does land on WWE TV, hopefully Anoa’i debuts soon!

3. Tyra Mae Steele

After winning the first season of the A&E reality competition series WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats), WWE fans could expect to see Tyra Mae Steele arrive on NXT officially soon.
The real-life Olympic gold medalist wowed the judges on the show to earn the honor for Team Undertaker, besting Zena Sterling.
While she has competed in NXT prior to WWE LFG, her win in the competition will set her up for an immediate push this time around, much like the men’s winner of the competition did during his first post-win appearance.
Jasper Troy already made a thunderous debut on NXT, running in and attacking NXT Champion Oba Femi after the champion’s face-to-face with Battleground 2025 challenger, Myles Borne. If Tyra Mae Steele has as big of a push when she re-debuts on TV, expect big things to come for her in 2025.

2. Mike D Vecchio

One of the biggest stars on the indies in the UK, Belgian professional wrestler Mike D Vecchio has been recently revealed as having signed with WWE.
Well known for his work in wXw, the former European Champion is poised to bring his hard hitting action stateside as WWE added more names from Europe as well.
WWE is reportedly actively signing several stars after the March 2025 try-outs in London including French masked wrestler Aigle Blanc, as well as Spanish talent Zozaya.
According to a report from Fightful, the signees are likely to start in WWE in September 2025 – so it likely won’t be too long before Vecchio makes a splash on NXT.

1. Danhausen

With reports that Danhausen’s contract with AEW is set to expire sometime in the Summer – and no indication he will re-sign nor ever reappear again in AEW – fans of the ‘Very Nice, Very Evil’ star continue to hold out hope for his future.
Notable merchandise mover with a character seemingly perfect for NXT, Danhausen could bring his own brand of quirky humor to the WWE fan base.
While Danhausen remains absent from AEW TV, he remains active in independent wrestling, wrestling convention appearances and posts to social media.
With NXT Battleground on the horizon, perhaps Danhausen can make a surprise appearance in WWE sometime very soon.
