With the Money in the Bank ladder match approaching for both the men and women on the WWE roster, there are several key standouts who could take the win.
From newer names to grizzled veterans who have a point to prove – there are a lot of compelling choices for who could win the women’s Money in the Bank match in 2025.
Here are eight WWE stars that could win the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on June 7.
8. Chelsea Green

After Zelina Vega dethroned Chelsea Green as Women’s United States Champion, Chelsea Green is in need of a new purpose.
While she was shown being in mourning regarding the loss, it seems likely that Green could perk back up in the quest to reclaim her title – or go for another one entirely.
After a stellar performance in last year’s match – Green would be the perfect winner for the Women’s Money in the Bank, a reward for her entertaining work throughout the last 12 months.
Re-designing the briefcase again from the Tiffany Stratton themed purse version over the past year, Green could absolutely put her own unique spin on the Money in the Bank briefcase.

7. Naomi

2025 has seen Naomi undergo a complete character transformation.
Doing arguably the most compelling character work in her career, Naomi would be the perfect winner for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
With Naomi’s new attire heavily featuring caution tape, a briefcase re-design is right there!
Already a tenured veteran of the WWE roster, Naomi could also make history by becoming the first black woman to capture the briefcase and set Naomi up for her first WWE singles title run since 2017.

6. Jade Cargill

Another star that would be a history maker should she win the Money in the Bank ladder match is Jade Cargill.
Factoring heavily into the current feuding around the WWE Women’s Championship, Cargill seems to fit right in with the divisions main event stars like Tiffany Stratton, Naomi and Nia Jax.
Should Cargill win the briefcase, she would definitely be a threat to the women’s division – but her actual cash-in could be saved until the perfect moment.
With Cargill still yet to meet with the likes of Charlotte Flair or even Bianca Belair in singles action – surprise dream matches could come about by cashing in the Money in the Bank contract.

5. Charlotte Flair

Despite all of her accolades in WWE, Charlotte Flair has surprisingly never won the Money in the Bank ladder match.
While she competed in the first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match back in 2017 that was eventually won by Carmella, Flair has been cashed-in on more than any other female star at three times.
In a fun twist this year, Flair could enter the match and actually be a massive spoiler for the rest of the young hopefuls who could make up the rest of the match.
Carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase all year, the “Top Girl” in WWE could be a menacing presence across Raw, SmackDown and NXT by threatening everyone with a cash-in.

4. Alexa Bliss

After making a big return at the Royal Rumble and taking part in the Elimination Chamber match, Alexa Bliss had been off of TV during the road to WrestleMania.
Her prolonged absence ended on last weeks’ SmackDown however, taking part in a tag team match with Zelina Vega against Chelsea Green and Piper Niven.
While Bliss captured the Money in the Bank ladder match win back in 2018, she could make history in 2025 by becoming the only woman to ever win the match twice.
Since rumors persist about her potentially joining the Wyatt Sicks, perhaps the Money in the Bank briefcase could fit into a bigger plan in the future for the star’s storyline.

3. Asuka

The former three-time WWE Women’s Champion Asuka has been out of in-ring competition since May 2024 with injury.
However, Asuka is rumored to be returning to in-ring competition soon and a Money in the Bank ladder match win could be just the way to bring her back into the fold.
With a looming threat of potentially cashing in on IYO SKY, there could be long simmering tension about a potential cash-in between the former Damage CTRL allies.
Kairi Sane is also thought to be returning to action in WWE in the near future – another great choice for a Money in the Bank ladder match winner – but even if she weren’t in the match, she could make a surprise return to interfere on behalf of someone else like Asuka.

2. Michin

With Michin’s ability to put on performances in a variety of match types, including ladder matches and street fights – seeing her enter the Money in the Bank match would be a great deal of fun.
Coupled with her undying rivalry against Chelsea Green, Michin would be a fun surprise winner for 2025.
Michin has yet to capture any championships in WWE – perhaps adding the power of the Money in the Bank briefcase can finally get her that elusive first title.
While she hasn’t exactly been booked as a main event level star just yet, Michin has been nocking at the door for quite some time and feels overdue for a cathartic win, similarly to Zelina Vega’s capturing of the Women’s United States Title.

1. Becky Lynch

Since Becky Lynch was bested by Lyra Valkyria to retain her Women’s Intercontinental Championship, their feud doesn’t seem to really be over.
However, if Becky were to lean into the criticism and went on to win the Money in the Bank briefcase, she could spend the entire year being a menace after adding a Money in the Bank win to her legendary resumé.
Similarly to a potential Charlotte Flair win, Lynch holding the briefcase is less about her needing to use it to win and much more about the looming threat that carrying it poses to every champion, as well as advancing her heel character.
Able to insert herself into any feud, at any time with Becky’s potential use of the contract nagging the entire division – Lynch could flip criticism about herself and the past meaning of the briefcase entirely on its head.
