With WWE SummerSlam 2025 in the books, it is time to look ahead to potential roster changes after the big event.
Reports have indicated the 2025 WWE Draft potentially taking place sometime after SummerSlam, and there could be some surprising stars shifting brands.
Here are eight WWE stars who could switch brands after SummerSlam 2025.
8. Rhea Ripley
A potential contender to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship should she flip brands is Rhea Ripley.
While Ripley has been a mainstay on Raw for several years now, there is something to be said for mixing it up.
Having teamed with Stratton in the past, a future pairing between the two could make for a temporary storyline that turns into betrayal.
With Ripley having abandoned some of her more vicious and brutal characteristics of late, she could definitely find new motivation for violence on a new brand.

7. LA Knight
Although he had recently feuded with Seth Rollins, LA Knight is still listed as a SmackDown roster member.
With fiery appearances as of late on WWE Raw, the move could be made permanent after SummerSlam 2025.
With Seth Rollins having captured the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk after cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase, it would make sense for LA Knight to be even more committed to getting his pound of flesh.
While Knight didn’t make the SummerSlam card, perhaps there is a big story for him, especially considering he beat Rollins at Saturday Night’s Main Event which should put him in title contention.

6. Nikki Bella
While she made her WWE return on Raw, it seems that Nikki Bella could find herself on the blue brand in the near future.
Able to continue feuding with Chelsea Green, she could also tangle with the likes of Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax and maybe even another Nikki in the Wyatt Sicks’ Nikki Cross.
While Cross hasn’t seen a lot of in-ring action during her time with the group, having a feud with a WWE Hall of Famer could be compelling, and given the cinematic nature of the Wyatts, their scenes could be filmed around Bella’s schedule if she isn’t working full-time.
Bella has noted that she isn’t only making periodic appearances in WWE, rather will be “around for a long time” – teasing that an actual feud could still be in her future.

5. Liv Morgan
Another WWE Raw star that could find themselves switching brands to SmackDown could be Liv Morgan.
After Morgan picked up and injury and was taken out of action, she was replaced in her Judgment Day stable by Roxanne Perez.
With Perez going on to compete alongside Morgan’s tag team partner Raquel Rodriguez, Liv was seemingly amused by their title loss at SummerSlam – posting to Twitter: “Aw shucks 😢” – sharing the WWE graphic of the new champs, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss.
If both Morgan and Nikki Bella make the move from Raw to SmackDown, they’d be able to continue their feud while maintaining a pause on Morgan’s conflict with Judgment Day.

4. GUNTHER
After losing the World Heavyweight Championship to CM Punk at SummerSlam, GUNTHER wasn’t the only one to lose the title that night.
With Seth Rollins revealing that his injury had been a ruse all along, he cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase and beat CM Punk to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
Although it was a big loss, it would make sense to see GUNTHER switch brands to SmackDown to go on to something even bigger now that he’s no longer the top champion on Raw.
Rumors persist that GUNTHER could be set to face off against John Cena in the latter’s final match in WWE in December 2025 – the build to which could primarily take place on SmackDown.

3. Bianca Belair
Bianca Belair’s brand has been somewhat in flux this year with appearances across both WWE Raw and SmackDown.
While Belair remains out of action due to injury, it was recently reported that she was nearing a potential return.
Bianca shared that she broke multiple fingers at WrestleMania 41 in her match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley – all of which were healing well except for one that continued to have difficulty bending.
While her latest appearances before the injury were on Raw, it would make sense to see her return to action on SmackDown, potentially even being the next rival for Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s Championship.

2. Austin Theory
Austin Theory saw his A-Town Down Under tag team with Grayson Waller quietly disbanded after a potential feud was growing for over a year.
With Waller explaining the break-up by including that Theory was injured, it isn’t clear if Theory is dealing with a legitimate injury at the minute.
However, if he’s medically cleared to compete, perhaps the best thing to happen for him would be to switch brands back to WWE SmackDown.
While fans can still hold out hope for another on-screen interaction between Austin Theory and John Cena, hopefully there is something on the horizon for the promising young star.

1. Jimmy Uso
Jimmy Uso remains a bit marooned on SmackDown without the rest of the core members of the OG Bloodline.
With Jey Uso and Roman Reigns teaming up on WWE Raw, Jimmy remains in the orbit of the ongoing Bloodline drama between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
However, if Jimmy were to be drafted to Raw to reunite with Jey, it could prove to be an interesting dynamic.
After having been split as a tag team for quite some time, bringing The Usos back together on-screen could be a way to reinvigorate the World Tag Team Championship picture on Raw.
