8 WWE Reunions Coming Soon

A big part of WWE’s storylines are tag team and faction breakups, and while these always hold great intrigue, big reunions can often be just as exciting to witness.

From nostalgic on-screen reunions, to returning to more recent partnerships – there are a lot of duos who could potentially take over once again.

Here are eight WWE reunions potentially coming soon.

8. Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes

WWE stars Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes will be back in action against John Cena at Money in the Bank 2025 – albeit in tag action, with Cody teaming with Jey Uso to take on John Cena and Logan Paul.

While it is fun to see Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes teaming together again after their notable pairing in 2023 – that included a nine day reign as WWE Tag Team Champions and an iconic press conference appearance – there is still a pairing that fans are looking forward to – Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes.

The duo did tag together against GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser back in October 2024 – but it would be legendary to see them actually join forces to resurrect their Legacy stable.

Bringing together a new faction built around Orton and Rhodes with call-ups from NXT like Myles Borne and Ricky Saints, the group could reign together… before inevitably falling apart as professional wrestling stables often do.

7. LayCool (Michelle McCool & Layla)

After WWE made the announcement official that Evolution 2 was happening in July, fans started speculating about which of their favorite female stars from the past could make a return to action.

One tag team that was central to the WWE Divas division was LayCool (Michelle McCool & Layla).

When one fan tweeted at Michelle McCool that she better call Layla, McCool responded by dropping some iPhone emojis and tagging her former tag team partner.

Potentially setting up a legendary reunion of their LayCool tag team – it would be great to see these ladies reunite at the event celebrating the evolution of the women’s division in WWE.

6. Kabuki Warriors/Damage CTRL

The formerly strong faction Damage CTRL has gone by the wayside in recent months. With Kairi Sane and Asuka out of action due to injury, IYO SKY has gone to reach singles success.

After Dakota Kai was confirmed to be released from WWE, Kairi Sane did return to TV and was shown on screen with IYO SKY in a backstage segment.

However, it remains to be seen if Asuka will rejoin the squad upon her return from injury, rumored to be occurring sometime in the near future.

While it could make sense for her to strike out on her own (perhaps even forming her own faction) – it would be heartwarming to see the three women back together.

5. Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams

Since joining the main roster, Carmelo Hayes had a solid rookie year – being drafted in the first round of the WWE Draft 2024, facing off against the likes of Cody Rhodes and Andrade.

However in recent months WWE have shifted him towards being back in a tag team once again – this time with The Miz under a moniker of Melo Don’t Miz.

With some fans feeling like Hayes is being underutilized, there is potential for WWE to reunite him with former running buddy from NXT Trick Williams, who seems likely to called up to the main roster at some point soon.

With the Trick Melo Gang on the loose on either WWE Raw or SmackDown, there could be some exciting new singles and tag feuds for the pair in the future.

4. Cast of Total Divas

WWE Total Divas

With WWE Evolution 2 taking place on July 13 – it would be the perfect time to see former WWE stars return.

While the previous era of women’s wrestling in WWE was notable for the ‘Divas’ moniker, the division also benefited from having a reality series capture their desire to do more in the company.

With the E! series Total Divas following a rotating cast for 9 seasons airing from 2013 to 2019 – some of the central stars of the show should definitely reunite on-screen in WWE.

With The Bella Twins, Maryse, CJ Perry, Natalya and Naomi and the potential return of Paige, having a Total Divas battle royal featuring past talent and current stars would be a celebration of the stars who took part in the Divas era.

3. Jimmy & Jey Uso

With rumors of The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff Hardy) returning for another program in WWE – perhaps there is a showdown of the greatest tag teams of all time on the horizon.

One duo that should undeniably be in that discussion is Jimmy & Jey Uso who together have been 5x WWE Tag Team Champions and 3x World Tag Team Champions.

While Jey Uso currently holds singles gold on WWE Raw with the World Championship – Jimmy Uso has taken a backseat in regards to match action.

However, if The Hardys are returning it would feel wrong not to see them run it back again with Jimmy and Jey.

2. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross

Since making her return at the 2025 Royal Rumble, fans have continued to expect Alexa Bliss to join the Wyatt Sicks.

While there hasn’t been any significant reveals about her character occurring yet, she has continued to use her version of the Sister Abigail finishing move, suggesting that the two sides will align eventually.

Having previously held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship together but under very different circumstances, the pair would be an even more dangerous duo now.

Whether Bliss joins the Wyatt Sicks faction or simply reunites with Nikki Cross – there is seemingly still more on the horizon for the group and Alexa Bliss.

1. Roman Reigns & Sami Zayn

Roman Reigns hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since the Raw after WrestleMania where he was attacked by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker.

While Zayn recently teamed with CM Punk against the pair of Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker – fans continue to await for the return of the Tribal Chief.

Seemingly poised to reignite the feud between Rollins and Reigns, now that Seth has the numbers advantage of having a faction behind him – perhaps Roman will need to reunite with ally Sami Zayn.

Perhaps as a part of a third iteration of The Bloodline that could include new stars (such as Hikuleo or Lance Anoa’i) – bringing Reigns and the ‘Honorary Uce’ Zayn back together could recapture some of the original Bloodline magic.
