While the WWE transfer window saw moves across Raw and SmackDown, Triple H could still move some stars to NXT.
A stay in NXT doesn’t have to take a long time in order to serve its purpose for a somewhat directionless character and there are at least a few stars who are in need of a refresh.
Here are eight WWE Raw & SmackDown stars that should move to NXT.
8. IYO SKY
While some could view a move to NXT as some sort of backwards step, in the case of IYO SKY it would simply be going where there are more fights to be had.
Think of the matches – Giulia, ZARIA, Sol Ruca, Stephanie Vaquer – the opportunities are seemingly endless.
While the return to the performance center should be short-lived, every time IYO SKY returns to NXT it is truly something exciting and she could add a great deal to an already stacked NXT women’s roster.
There is another WWE star that may benefit from re-joining NXT full time however…

7. Alba Fyre
With her Unholy Union tag team partner Isla Dawn being released from WWE, Alba Fyre is obviously in need of a fresh start.
While her previous iteration as a singles star in NXT was quite successful, some of the gravitas was lost on her transition to the main roster.
Perhaps a return to NXT full time would be a way to re-establish her character as well as put on enthralling matches with the newest crop of NXT women’s talent.
With NXT undeniably amid the best showcase of women’s wrestling today, a stay in NXT is anything but a demotion at this point.

6. Grayson Waller
Think about it – how long has WWE been teasing a potential break-up between A-Town Down Under?
In the event Waller and Theory finally break-up, it would make complete sense for Austin Theory to go on his way as a babyface whilst Waller could return to his roots in NXT.
With a known hatred for Shawn Michaels, Waller could team up with any disgruntled haters of authority or better yet – another delightfully obnoxious pal.
Grayson Waller could absolutely go create a dastardly duo with ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page in NXT ,with both of them later returning to the main roster to challenge for tag team gold.

5. Nia Jax
It would make sense to see Nia Jax (perhaps accompanied by Candice LeRae) to pop up in NXT to recruit some new evil best friends.
With a variety of heelish women on the NXT roster, it could make a smooth transition for Jacy Jayne or Fallon Henley perhaps to see their call-ups to the main roster (finally!) by way of joining established stars from the main roster.
Nia Jax would be an impressive foe for some of NXT’s most popular women’s stars, including a pair she already met in the Royal Rumble 2025.
Both Roxanne Perez and Jordynne Grace could conceivably not only take on Jax, but could even pick up the win back at their home turf of the Performance Center.

4. R-Truth
R-Truth makes comedy gold no matter where he goes and there is no better place for his hijinks than NXT.
While it would be a short stop, how hilarious could it be for R-Truth to be lost backstage at NXT and believing himself to be running into main roster stars.
With Myles Borne easily being able to be mistaken for Randy Orton, Truth could get befuddled by TNA crossovers as well – ideally, bumping into Matt and Jeff Hardy.
Whether NXT needs some sort of special event host or mystery opponent, WWE needs send R-Truth to NXT at least for one night.

3. Tonga Loa
Tonga Loa is currently out of action due to injury, however even before his departure his character fell a bit flat.
Compared to the other members of the new Bloodline (Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu) who have now settled into complete characters on WWE SmackDown, Tonga Loa could stand out as the odd man out.
However should he return for a spell in NXT, he could likely develop in a feud at the Performance Center.
While every appearance shouldn’t include Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu – some could, and it would be really fun to see them run roughshod on NXT again.

2. Wyatt Sicks
While a permanent stay wouldn’t be necessary, there are several family based NXT storylines happening that could catch the attention of the Wyatt Sicks.
With Tony D’Angelo and his family seemingly teetering on the edge of a change to the decidedly more evil family helmed by Shawn Spears, there will be betrayal at some point.
And when it happens – the Wyatt Sicks could absolutely avenge it!
Also, they’re pretty much the only ones who could conceivably have the ability to stop the dominant Mystery faction in NXT right now (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Osiris Griffin, and Saquon Shugars) so that would also be an option.

1. Damian Priest
With speculation continuing around whether or not there is a specific leader to the Mystery faction – perhaps there is a leader from the main roster.
Damian Priest could absolutely be revealed as the secret leader of the NXT faction, leaning into his character’s history of rogue violence in the past.
While the entire group’s motivation could be collective frustration for being overlooked, Damian Priest could certainly fit that bill.
Or just have one really iconic match against Oba Femi, whatever you want to do Shawn Michaels!
