With both the men’s and women’s tag team divisions in WWE in need of fresh new pairings, there are multiple intriguing options.
From teams that have yet to debut in WWE to others that could continue their partnership in an entirely
Here are eight new WWE tag teams that could thrill fans in the coming months.
8. Roman Reigns & Jey Uso

The two biggest stars in the Bloodline have already joined forces once of late to the delight of fans.
Already teaming together at SummerSlam 2025 to huge crowd response — the duo could continue to team together.
With a variety of shared enemies out to get them, it may be that SummerSlam wasn’t the last time that Reigns and Uso create a powerhouse tag team.
Although Reigns has seemingly suffered a beatdown at the hands of The Vision faction again — it has been confirmed that he will be appearing at the upcoming WWE Clash in Paris.

7. El Doble Grande Americano (Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne)

Admittedly — this is not a brand new tag team but is certainly a departure from their previous team, the New Catch Republic.
With there being multiple El Grande Americanos already running around in WWE — might as well make them an official tag team.
With both Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate having filled in as alternate Americanos as of late, their existing tag team could rebrand.
With the initial imposter Americano played by Ludwig Kaiser still around while the original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) is out of action due to injury — there could end up being an all Americano fatal-four way some day.

6. Kiana James & Giulia

After capturing the United States Championship on SmackDown, Giulia became allied with a familiar face back in action.
Returning from injury after more than a year away, Kiana James has yet to make her in-ring return on TV but has had a match for Main Event.
While the pair have already made their on-screen debut together, it seems likely they could end up a tag team.
Seemingly a logical next step, the duo could be a formidable tag team for any other including the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

5. Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy)

A potentially brand new team in WWE could be coming straight off the AEW bench.
After dropping the AEW World Tag Team Championship to the Hurt Syndicate back in January, Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) disappeared from AEW TV.
With reports that their contracts with AEW were expiring in the very near future, a debut from Private Party could be sooner rather than later.
With reports that WWE are interested in vetting the duo given their experience on TV and well defined characters – it would make total sense to see these two join the main roster or NXT.

4. Karmen Petrovic & Maxxine Dupri

Natalya has found second life in her character through brutal battles on the independents under her real moniker, Nattie.
If WWE were to showcase the Nattie character on TV — it wouldn’t mean that the Dungeon Dolls would have to go anywhere. Rather, there could be a glamorous and (learning to be) vicious tag team that supports Nattie.
Bringing together the real life martial arts skills of Karmen Petrovic with the ambition of Maxxine Dupri and the pair would certainly seem to be a dangerous duo on their own.
With Natalya already having teamed with Petrovic in the past — this new stable would make complete sense.

3. Bron Breakker & Tony D’Angelo

Tony D’Angelo was seemingly written off of WWE NXT TV in an apparent homage to The Sopranos’ controversial series finale.
With The Don of NXT getting the same ending as Tony Soprano — D’Angelo’s future plans are unknown.
Perhaps putting an end to the specifically mobster leaning character, Tony D could easily find himself called up to the main roster in the near future.
Seemingly a good fit to join Seth Rollins’ The Vision faction, D’Angelo could form a tag team with Bron Breakker or Bronson Reed, depending on the situation.

2. Bianca Belair & Naomi

While they have been a team in the past, their reunion would be a brand new version of their former tag team.
Bianca Belair has remained out of action with injury since breaking several fingers at WWE WrestleMania 41 in a match against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.
However, she has returned on-screen to continue her storyline with both Jade Cargill and Naomi.
With her emotional interactions with Naomi seemingly teasing a reconciliation in the future, fans continue to speculate that upon returning Bianca Belair could turn heel.

1. Lucha Brothers (Penta & Rey Fenix)

While the longstanding brother duo of Penta and Rey Fenix have been a tag team all over the world — they have yet to link up in WWE.
PENTA made his debut on WWE Raw and has been primarily engaged in singles action whereas Fenix made his WWE arrival on SmackDown.
While Fenix has featured recently in tag team action with Andrade, including at SummerSlam 2025 in a classic TLC match — it seems likely that the Lucha Bros will reunite in WWE at some point.
Potentially poised to join forces by way of appearing on the same brand, given recent direction
