There is a short turnaround before WWE hosts the next big premium live event, WWE Clash in Paris on August 31, 2025.

Without many matches being made official for the upcoming card, there are a lot of intriguing options.

Here are eight matches that are likely to be added to the card for WWE Clash in Paris 2025.

8. CM Punk vs. LA Knight

While LA Knight did get the first shot at Seth Rollins and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship -he was unsuccessful in his bid to capture it.

There is clearly still bad blood between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, making it possible that Punk will get a title shot next.

However, since LA Knight also continues to stake his claim – perhaps Rollins will duck both of them for Paris.

If the Visionary pits his two rivals against one another – he gets to sit back and relax at Clash in Paris.

7. Tiffany Stratton vs. Bianca Belair

Before her injury at WrestleMania 41 took her out of action, Bianca Belair was appearing on WWE Raw.

However, if she were to return to SmackDown instead – she could be the perfect challenger to Tiffany Stratton’s continued reign as WWE Women’s Champion.

With Tiffy Time continuing to roll on with Stratton remaining the longest reigning current WWE Champion at 200+ days and counting – she could finally meet her match in Belair.

Or perhaps another devasting loss sending Belair over the edge, she ends up turning heel – there are possibilities!

6. Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch

After a scathing promo on the August 5th edition of WWE Raw, it seems that Becky Lynch has no problem responding to a challenge from WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.

Ending the segment with a sucker punch, there will certainly be a receipt coming Lynch’s way on the way to the Clash in Paris.

All but confirming that the pair will face off against one another for the Intercontinental Championship in Paris – this match seems to be happening.

While it seems likely that Lynch will retain – in the spirit of the recent unpredictability in WWE, maybe not.

5. MFT (Solo Sikoa, Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa & JC Mateo) vs. Jacob Fatu, Jimmy and Jey Uso & Tama Tonga

Even though Solo Sikoa managed to retain his WWE United States Championship at SummerSlam over challenger Jacob Fatu – there were plenty of interferences.

Making it clear that the feud was not yet over, it seems likely that a multi-man match will happen in Paris.

Bonus swerve could also be that instead of Jey Uso being on team Fatu, there could be a debut of an entirely new Bloodline member.

Mirroring Solo Sikoa’s shock debut at Clash at the Castle 2022, perhaps Lance Anoaʻi or Zilla Fatu could make their surprise main roster debuts.

4. Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre

Now that Cody Rhodes has conquered John Cena to reclaim the Undisputed WWE Championship, there will surely be a next opponent lurking just around the corner.

One intriguing prospect could be for Drew McIntyre to be the next challenger for Cody.

Having mastered the art of dastardly humiliations on the mic and on social media, their feud would be unlikely to only last a few weeks.

Perhaps kicking off an extended feud between the pair – there is a lot of compelling stories McIntyre and Rhodes could this fall.

3. Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black

Alesiter Black has been engaged in his most compelling feud yet since returning to WWE in his recent interactions with Damian Priest.

Although the pair have already had a heated rivalry, they have yet to have a complete match.

Since their most recent showdown ended in a disqualification when Black threw a steel chair at Priest’s head – there could be a stipulation attached to this bout.

Whether it is a Paris Street Fight or something more severe like a Last Man Standing match – it remains to be seen.

2. GUNTHER vs. Ilja Dragunov

In fairness – both GUNTHER and Ilja Dragunov remain officially out of action due to injury at time of writing.

With GUNTHER being reported on WWE Raw to have sustained a “septal hematoma and orbital blowout fracture” as a result of the “injury” from the announce table spot and would be out of action “indefinitely”.

Ilja Dragunov on the other hand has been out of WWE action after suffering a torn ACL during a house show match against GUNTHER back in September 2024.

Perhaps finding a way for the pair to end up coming face-to-face this month, there will be a showdown in Paris.

1. Bron Breakker vs. Jey Uso

With Bron Breakker continuing to come into his own as a character, his next opponent is in for a challenge.

In a way to continue the feuding between The Vision faction, it could be that Jey Uso actually ends up going one-on-one with Bron Breakker at Clash in Paris.

While perhaps deferring the showdown between Roman Reigns and Bron Breakker, instead Jey could end up taking on Breakker.

Keeping the rivalry fresh in the minds of fans even in the potential absence of Roman Reigns – Jey Uso will certainly find a place somewhere on the card.
