With the announcement that WWE is set to host the all-female Evolution 2025 PLE in July 2025, there is great potential for some surprise debuts.
From a potential new signing that has sparked a lot of online speculation to current champions affiliated with WWE-friendly promotions, there are a lot of talented women who could arrive at WWE Evolution 2025.
Here are eight potential debuts at WWE Evolution 2025.
8. Mariah May
While she was last seen in the Hollywood Ending match against Timeless Toni Storm, losing her bid to reclaim the AEW Women’s World title, Mariah May is seemingly WWE bound.
WWE Evolution 2 is set to broadcast on Sunday, July 13 – the night after AEW All In Texas takes place, in the first American stadium show for AEW.
Last year at Wembley Stadium, Mariah May captured the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In London 2024.
Perhaps poised to make a major mark this summer with a surprise WWE debut, Mariah May’s arrival could steal the show.

7. Lady Flammer
With WWE acquiring AAA, a brand new title to WWE fans that could be on the line at Evolution 2 is the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.
Held in the past by former WWE stars like Deonna Purrazzo, Taya Valkyrie, Flammer is over 650 days deep into her current reign.
While she is a free agent, she continues to appear for AAA and would very likely not come alone if she was to make an arrival at Evolution 2.
She could be accompanied by her fellow stablemates from Las Toxicas – Lady Maravilla & La Hiedra – leading to the prospect of a very interesting multi-woman match.

6. Saraya (Paige)
While she may be remembered by many fans for her time in WWE as Paige, there was an in-ring return for Saraya over the past several years in AEW.
Taking part in several big matches, including capturing the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In London 2023, Saraya found success in the promotion.
However now that she is a free agent, she may be poised to make a return to WWE.
With an entirely new set of achievements to obtain and match types to participate in that didn’t even exist during her previous WWE run, it would be great to see Paige come back to WWE and make some more history in the women’s division.

5. Kali Armstrong
With potential space on the card for all of WWE’s brands to be represented, it would make sense to see debuts from NXT as well as WWE ID and Evolve.
One such name, Kali Armstrong, has recently made history as the first ever WWE Evolve Women’s Champion.
Able to defeat Kendal Grey, Kylie Rae and Wendy Choo to earn the distinction as the inaugural Evolve Women’s Champion, it may even make sense to see this title on the line at Evolution.
Getting a chance to see some future top prospects on a big WWE main roster card would be a great testament to Evolve and WWE ID in terms of impact on the future of women in professional wrestling.

4. The Bella Twins
While Nikki Bella made an in-ring return at the Royal Rumble 2025, her twin sister Brie Bella did not join her.
With the upcoming Evolution event evoking memories of the first iteration of the all-female PLE, it was Nikki Bella in the main event against Ronda Rousey.
Having not shared the ring together since the 2022 Royal Rumble – and before that back in 2018 – perhaps the duo will make a return together at Evolution 2025.
For a chance at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship for the first time, or perhaps just in a battle royal, it would be great to see the Bellas back in WWE.

3. Gisele Shaw
Former TNA Knockout turned free agent Gisele Shaw could be a great addition to WWE Evolution 2025.
Able to use her shared history from TNA with current top WWE names like Naomi, Chelsea Green and Jordynne Grace, it would be a fun surprise to see her make an appearance.
Shaw currently reigns as the inagural MLP Women’s Canadian Champion, winning the title in a tournament final against WWE ID prospect and Evolve star Kylie Rae.
She could add a lot to Evolution by competing in the ring or even picking up backstage hosting duties due to her fun personality.

2. Myla Grace
Recently announced as becoming the first Northern Irish star to sign with TNA Wrestling, Myla Grace could become the next of the TNA Knockout to make a crossover appearance.
If Evolution 2025 features a battle royal like the first version of the event in 2018, it would make sense to see a group of TNA Knockouts make appearances.
Other current TNA Wrestling stars that could make appearances include the likes of Rosemary, Masha Slamovich and Tasha Steelz.
More TNA names that are familiar to WWE audiences for their past work could also be included, such as Ash by Elegance (Dana Brooke), Steph De Lander (Persia Pirotta), Victoria Crawford (Alicia Fox), Lei Ying Lee (Xia Li) and Indi Hartwell.

1. Utami Hayashishita
WWE has shared stars with Japanese promotion Marigold in the past, namely last summer when Utami Hayashishita faced IYO SKY.
In the bout that pitted the former leaders of the Stardom faction Queen’s Quest against one another, Hayashishita lost against SKY.
She also has a history with Giulia after their times in Stardom and Marigold together, although they’ve never had a full proper one-on-one match outside of Giulia’s Marigold farewell gauntlet before she joined WWE.
If the goal was to maintain the mystery of that match even longer, there would still be a route to take, as WWE could just book a three-way between Giulia, SKY and Hayashishita as a showcase for Evolution.
