WWE Raw is closing out its run on the USA Network as 2024 comes to a close.

With the show moving to two hours for the remainder of the year in October, the red brand is expected to undergo some changes.

Ahead of the move to Netflix in January 2025, various stars have been teasing big shifts whether it be as characters or alignment in the months to come.

Here are eight changes that could be coming to the WWE Raw roster.

8. Xavier Woods Turns Heel On Kofi Kingston To Split New Day

On the September 16 edition of Monday Night Raw, The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh defeated The New Day to retain the World Tag Team Championships.

Post match, Xavier Woods once again expressed his displeasure with Kofi Kingston not communicating well with him.

Xavier’s frustrations have become more and more evident since New Day’s rivalry with The Final Testament, and it feels like the dissension between the multi-time WWE Tag Team Champions is building to a boiling point.

Woods seems on the verge of turning heel on his longtime friend and tag team partner that will finally put an end to The New Day ahead of their 10-year anniversary.

7. The Miz Betrays R-Truth

Another building heel turn that is occurring on the periphery of the Raw brand is The Miz.

After showing his frustrations over losing the World Tag Team Championships, Karrion Kross has been playing off the former two-time WWE Champion’s insecurities and may lead to his betrayal of R-Truth.

Truth is a wildly popular star on the roster and would make the perfect person for The Miz to get a massive amount of heat for his eventual heel turn.

“The A-Lister” is just a natural antagonist and could unlock what’s been missing from his act over the past few months in Awesome Truth.

6. Dakota Kai Returns To Reunite With Damage CTRL

After being taken out by Pure Fusion Collective this past summer, Dakota Kai has been absent from the Monday Night Raw roster.

Serving as the English-speaking talker for the Damage CTRL stable, the faction has been missing her presence with IYO SKY and Kairi Sane now working as a tag team.

Kai will be looking to make her return sooner rather than later and even teased an impending comeback on social media recently.

Dakota will reunite with Damage CTRL and bring them back to greater strength now that the group are babyfaces. She could be what’s needed to bring the faction back to the top of WWE.

5. Roxanne Perez Gets Called Up After Losing To Giulia

The Raw women’s division has plenty of talent, but there might not be a more rounded star on the entire WWE main roster that is on the level of current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.

Coming into her own as a heel earlier this year, Perez has showcased her variety of skills as one of the best champions in all of women’s wrestling with standout wins and moments against the likes of Jordynne Grace, Lola Vice and Jaida Parker.

With a showdown with Giulia set for the October 1 CW launch episode, fans are expecting this to be Perez’s swan song from the developmental brand.

Roxanne would be a major boost for either Raw or SmackDown when she is done with her NXT run, but putting her on the red brand would provide her a plethora of talent for her to break out against.

4. Ludwig Kaiser Turns Babyface Against GUNTHER

On the September 16 episode of Monday Night Raw, Sami Zayn suggested that Ludwig Kaiser doesn’t need GUNTHER and could stand on his own two feet.

Despite attacking Zayn and being scheduled to face him in singles action next week, it was apparent that Kaiser was listening to Sami’s words.

If Ludwig wants to finally display his full ability, turning babyface on GUNTHER could be a way to propel himself up the card and set up a big World Heavyweight Championship match.

Kaiser is a polished in-ring performer, a brilliant talker and has a character who could play off well against “The Ring General.” Having an encounter against the Imperium leader would be the best way for Kaiser to establish himself as a main eventer for years to come.

3. Seth Rollins Returns To Get Revenge On Bronson Reed

On the August 5 episode of WWE Raw, Bronson Reed laid out Seth Rollins by delivering six Tsunamis before the former World Heavyweight Champion was carried away.

Following the beatdown, it was revealed that this was an official write-off for Rollins who had some lingering injuries.

Seth’s return to Monday Night Raw will be a huge moment with the show moving to two hours in October and fans will be clamouring for someone to stop the path of destruction of Reed.

Reed has been on a roll since attacking Rollins with his rivalry with Braun Strowman currently being one of the enjoyable programs on the show. However, Rollins will have vengeance on his mind and would serve as Bronson’s biggest WWE feud to date.

2. The Bloodline Invade To Attack Jey Uso

On the September 10 edition of WWE NXT, The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa made a surprise appearance to attack The Street Profits and NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom & Nathan Frazer.

With the brand split not being strongly enforced as of late, it will still remain a pivotal moment when Solo Sikoa’s faction makes their presence felt on Monday Night Raw.

Jey Uso has become one of the most popular stars on the Raw roster and in all of WWE since leaving The Bloodline, but it will not be too long until he finds himself opposite this new version of The Bloodline.

The faction coming to Raw to attack Jey Uso would be yet another memorable angle that should further their ongoing rivalry with Roman Reigns heading into a potential War Games at Survivor Series.

1. Drew McIntyre Leaves WWE Raw After Losing To CM Punk At Bad Blood

Drew McIntyre is scheduled to finally culminate his 10-month feud with CM Punk inside Hell In A Cell on Saturday, October 5 at WWE Bad Blood.

The bitter rivalry has seen McIntyre screwed over three times in his bid to win the World Heavyweight Title, and it is possible that Drew will have his sights back on the gold when his war with Punk is over.

If Punk is victorious at Bad Blood, it begs the question: how can Drew and his rival remain on the same brand? A loss against “The Second City Saint” should lead to McIntyre moving over to the SmackDown brand.

McIntyre is one of three stars on the WWE roster to score a singles pinfall victory over current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. A rivalry between “The American Nightmare” and “The Scottish Sociopath” is something that many fans will want to see if Drew closes the book on his Raw run.
