Several different WWE stars from Monday Night Raw have been moved around to other brands throughout 2025.
Whether it be Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest or the recent departure of Sami Zayn, these stars have left the red brand to go on to success over on Friday night SmackDown.
Looking at the current roster for Raw, there are still some talents that could be shifted over to either SmackDown or NXT before the end of the year.
Here are seven WWE stars to potentially leave Raw.
7. El Grande Americano
Since making his debut earlier this year, El Grande Americano has made a name for himself on the Monday Night Raw brand.
The self-proclaimed legendary luchador has used his unique ability in the squared circle and some nefarious tactics to build up some wins and momentum.
With two more Americanos working to his advantage, El Grande seems destined to move up the ladder even more in the weeks and months to come.
Americano could make the move over to Friday Night SmackDown where he could start some new rivalries with the likes of Rey Fenix, Carmelo Hayes or Sami Zayn.

6. New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate)
Back in March, Tyler Bate made his return from a torn pectoral injury to reunite with Pete Dunne to reform their New Catch Republic tag team.
Many fans believed WWE would bring back the duo to bolster the Raw tag team division, but it hasn’t seemed to be in the plans for now.
After not appearing on Raw since their return match – other than being El Grande Americano’s accomplices – Bate and Dunne might seek greener pastures somewhere else.
Whether it be joining the robust SmackDown tag team division or becoming the veteran tandem on the NXT brand, New Catch Republic might be due a change of scenery to regain momentum.

5. Rhea Ripley
In 2025, there is an argument that Rhea Ripley is the most popular babyface on the WWE roster today.
Regularly getting the loudest crowd reactions on every episode of Raw, Ripley has become the top name in the women’s division and is usually involved in the WWE Women’s World Championship picture.
‘The Nightmare’ now finds herself on the outside looking in after Stephanie Vaquer defeated IYO SKY to win the Women’s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza 2025.
While she is sure to challenge ‘La Primera’ in the next few weeks ahead, Rhea could then make her way to SmackDown where there are many fresh matchups with their women’s scene against the likes of Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green and Jade Cargill.

4. AJ Styles
Upon returning to WWE at the beginning of 2025, AJ Styles joined the Monday Night Raw roster where he has become a consistent part of the brand.
Feuding with the likes of Logan Paul, Karrion Kross and Dominik Mysterio, Styles has been showcasing why he is considered a living legend in the business, while proving why he is still one of the best.
With his contract set to expire in February and his future in question, WWE could move ‘The Phenomenal One’ from Raw to SmackDown one more time before he might leave the company.
Styles heading to SmackDown opens the door for one more main event run in WWE because he could become one of the bigger names on the roster alongside Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre.

3. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods & Grayson Waller)
On the June 30 edition of WWE Raw, The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh defeated The New Day to win the World Tag Team Championship.
Since then, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have recruited Grayson Waller to grieve the loss of their titles.
The New Day are one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history and deserve to shine on whichever brand they are part of.
Bringing Waller with them to SmackDown, The New Day could mix it up with the likes of The Street Profits, Motor City Machine Guns and The Wyatt Sicks where they could use their name value and experience to put a bigger spotlight on the tag scene.

2. Natalya
In 2025, Natalya has undergone a character change and presentation shift that has seen her gain some much needed attention.
Transforming to Nattie Neidhart, fans outside of WWE have seen the veteran appear in independent promotions as a new version of herself.
Dropping the pink and black that is synonymous with the Hart Family, Nattie has been showing up in all black, embracing a more serious, darker persona and showcasing a more aggressive attitude along the way.
With the physicality and violence in the ring turned up a bit, Natalya could complete this transformation by bringing this character to WWE TV by moving from Raw to SmackDown.

1. Penta
In January 2025, Penta signed with WWE and joined the Monday Night Raw roster.
Taking the company by storm, Penta has established himself as a must watch star who could be on the rise to the top.
There have been recent reports and rumors that the former AEW World Tag Team Champion could reunite with his brother Rey Fenix to go for gold in the tag division.
Moving to SmackDown, Penta and Fenix could reform the Lucha Bros and put on some instant classics with a litany of duos, such as DIY, Fraxiom and Motor City Machine Guns.
