With John Cena fast approaching the end of his landmark career in WWE, he’s an inevitable future inductee into the Hall of Fame.
With so many storied rivals in the ring, there are options as to who may do the honors of inducting John Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Here are seven stars that could pull off the WWE Hall of Fame speech for John Cena’s future induction.
7. Randy Orton

One name often mentioned as someone who should be considered to induct Cena would be Randy Orton.
With Randy Orton having proven to be a consistent rival of Cena’s over the years, they have now even had the opportunity to wrestle where Orton is the babyface and Cena is the heel.
Able to share a unique experience of Cena as a true peer, Orton could be a hilarious person to induct Cena in moments as well as keep it very serious in others.
Also liable to go a bit off script, Orton would be a genuinely enjoyable speaker for the event that tends to run late into the evening Friday night ahead of WrestleMania Saturday.

6. CM Punk

There are few orators in WWE that are as compelling as CM Punk.
As one of John Cena’s most storied rivals throughout his career, Punk would be a solid shout to do the honors of his induction.
Having recently faced off against Punk again in the ring, their rivalry has extended into a brand new WWE era of fans.
While Punk has spoken highly of Cena in the past, it would be a unique moment to hear his homage to Cena for the WWE Hall of Fame.

5. Kurt Angle

Certainly one name that springs to mind of who may be the one to induct John Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame is Kurt Angle.
While Angle and Cena went to war on multiple occasions, it was the trajectory of Cena’s debut in 2002 against Angle to eventually besting him that many fans remember fondly.
When asked about the fact that he remains an odds on favorite to do the induction of John Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame, Angle was honored but also added more names to the potential list.
Noting that he believed that perhaps Stephanie McMahon could do the honors as always having been a supporter of Cena but also the person who discovered him rapping which led to a whole new life for him in the company.

4. Edge (Adam Copeland)

Formerly known as Edge during his time in WWE, Adam Copeland would be a great person to induct Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Able to discuss their storied rivalry, Edge also has spoken warmly of Cena in the past but could bring a unique perspective to the speech.
While Copeland remains under contract with AEW at the minute which would seemingly preclude him from participating – he has been open about his contract being up in October 2026.
So unless Cena is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame shortly after retirement, there is hope that Cope could do the honors.

3. Triple H

For a monumental induction into the WWE Hall of Fame like John Cena, the speech requires gravitas.
One choice to induct John Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame could be Triple H.
Having worked with Cena over the decades and in a variety of roles, there are few that could speak to Cena’s work more than Triple H.
Clearly exhibiting a lot of respect for John Cena in general, it would be intriguing to hear the more personal side of Triple H’s fondness for the inductee.

2. The Rock

Another big choice to induct John Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame would be The Rock.
While it was The Rock’s ‘Final Boss’ character who seemingly took Cena to the dark side at Elimination Chamber, Cena has since returned to his babyface glory to close out the final months of his farewell tour.
The Rock would be able to speak to multiple facets of John Cena’s story in WWE, but also his current story in Hollywood.
On a very short list of people who could speak to what it is like to make the leap from WWE to huge Hollywood productions, The Rock would have a special take on all of Cena’s accomplishments.

1. Group Of Make-A-Wish Kids

Although it hasn’t been done before, there could be a group of relative strangers to induct John Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame.
While his in-ring career has been legendary, the work that Cena has contributed to the community is also something that cannot be overlooked.
John Cena started granting wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 2004 and has broken the Guinness Book World Record for most wishes granted by an individual at over 650 in 2022 – assuredly even higher by now.
Since there are presumably now wish grantees who could be in their 20s or 30s, it would be great to see multiple different generations of Cena Make-a-Wish kids speaking to his career of service.
